My first impression of the Vortex was, "Wow, it's so soft but so powerful! This is going to be fun!". The packaging was a little bit underwhelming, just a plain white box, but it held more than meets the eye. Not including the part with the buttons, the insertable length is shorter than my hand (which isn't very big), but the ridges looked like they more than made up for it.

I had a solo session with the toy. I wanted to try it out for myself before introducing anyone else to it. I had a pleasant experience using the toy while lying on my back and inserting it vaginally. I did note that because of the flared base, it could also be used anally, but that's not personally my thing. Better to save that for my partner, I thought.

My second time using the Vortex was with a partner. I explained how it worked, and she was easily able to pick it up and go to town without too much finagling. As for the noise level, it's pretty significant. I disagree with the 2 it's been given, at least when it's on one of the higher settings. I would probably give it a 3 out of 5, at least. It's a pretty straightforward toy without much-varied use other than insertion, especially as the rotation does not appear to be able to be turned off.

I was able to achieve a wonderful orgasm with the Vortex with a bit of extra help on my clitoris. While not the fault of the toy, I tend not to be able to cum from internal stimulation alone. However, the added effect of the toy rotating inside of me while my clitoris was stimulated was more than enough to send me over the edge.
