Underwear or harness? Or both?

RodeoH is an underwear style harness that's great for spontaneous and random encounters. You can wear it all day and pull out your attachment when you're ready to go. It won't last forever since it is more like underwear than a substantial harness, but for the time that it does last, it will keep your attachments firmly secure against your body throughout all types of play.

Use

RodeoH is an underwear style harness that sports an o-ring on the front for easily accessible and spontaneous play. It's not a g-string or double-strap design like other harnesses on the market; it's literally a pair of underwear with an extra added oomph. RodeoH can be worn under clothing inconspicuously as underwear so that it's ready to go whenever you are (so long as you have your prosthetic or dildo nearby). One thing that I personally like about RodeoH is that it's fairly gender neutral (save for the fact that the waistband is extremely low cut) so it can be appreciated and worn by many.

Material

The harness is made of a soft, comfortable, and stretchy 95% cotton and 5% spandex blend. While the actual underwear section is not the most stretchy, the elastic band does have some give to it; this means that it won't dig into the skin like some underwear might. The rest of RodeoH is thick, substantial. For some reason, it did have this odd, tire-like scent when I received it, but that mostly went away after I washed it.

The o-ring that's sewn into the harness is made of rubber and it can actually stretch (more so than the o-ring on my Joque, at least). I was able to use it with multiple prosthetics of varying girths, so it has pretty good elasticity.

While you can safely use RodeoH in aquatic settings without damaging the material, I do not recommend it. If you've ever been pushed in a pool while wearing underwear, you know why I say this; it's not really that fun to have to peel cotton underwear off of one's body.

Design / Craftsmanship

RodeoH comes in three color combinations to fit a variety of tastes: black on black, light grey on black, and black on red. I chose the black on black color combination (or as it's called on Edenfantasys, "black and grey") because it suited me the best and I found it to be a cleaner look; it's also a bit more stealth, in my opinion, since it pops less than the other two do. In addition to color variation, there are also many size options, from 24" hips to 41" hips.

In terms of the cut, I had originally expected the harness to fit more like a short trunk, but alas, it is truly more of a brief cut. The elastic band is fairly wide in comparison to the size of the harness, but it does give it a nice look; it features the brand's logo tastefully, and it ties into the design of the rest of the harness. Construction-wise, there were no threads popping out and all of the stitching is very exact and precise. Screw it being a harness, it's a nice pair of briefs!

Since it is an underwear style, there is no option to have an interchangeable o-ring, and it is also not adjustable. What you see is what you get, which may not bode well with everyone.

Size / Fit

RodeoH frames the ass in a way that I'm personally not fond of, but most would find very attractive. It could also be due to the fact that I have a slightly bigger ass than most people my size, who knows. I ordered the 29" because I had a feeling that regardless of what the other reviews said, it would not fit right if I ordered a size down. I wear a size 26x30 or 28x30 in men's pants (in other words, have 28" hips), and the 29" RodeoH was tight on me. Not uncomfortably so, but still tight. Perhaps it's because I'm used to wearing things looser (i.e., my underwear is all a bit loose on me), but it could also be the fact that it sits extremely low. This means that the inch measurement given is not a measurement of the waist but instead a measurement of the hips.

Now, sitting low for a harness is usually a good thing, right? The only problem with mixing that with underwear is that most people's underwear doesn't sit as low as they'd wear a harness. At least, I don't. People who wear lower fitting underwear will appreciate this, but those of us who wear our undies a little higher up on the abdomen may feel awkward.

My suggestion for finding the right size for you is to contemplate a few things first before buying. Do you like to wear underwear a bit looser? Do you find yourself buying underwear a size bigger than you wear clothing in? Do underwear size charts usually not match you, regardless of whether or not your measurements are exactly within the parameters listed? If you answered yes to any of those questions, order a size (or maybe even two) up from your waistband measurement.

Performance

At first, I was trying to figure out how I would use it for its best purpose: spontaneous intercourse. That didn't really work out too well because I found out that it just took too damn long to try and fiddle with getting the base of my Goodfella in the o-ring. I eventually found out a way (put the top in first, then squeeze in the bottom), but it was too late. However, when I did finally put RodeoH to the test, I used my Realdoe (inserted it, pulled it through the o-ring), and it stayed in place the entire time—erect and at attention.

RodeoH was extremely comfortable in use and in regular wear. I didn't find myself getting pinched awkwardly, and I didn't experience any uncomfortable tightness in any areas. It looks really good on me, but I truly wasn't too fond of the low cut look. That aside, it does its job and it does it well; it secures every prosthetic in place regardless of how I moved, and it didn't come off or get loose during play. Surprisingly enough, even though the elastic band is stretchy, it didn't stretch out or start falling off of me during even my most forceful movements.

For me, the o-ring works great. It stretches to accommodate Goodfella's special base, yet it's small enough for me to pull other prosthetics through it and stay firm against my body, like the Realdoe. Others may not like the o-ring because it is not going to fit every single dildo/prosthetic out there.

Care and Maintenance

On RodeoH's website, they say that you can either hand wash the harness or wash it in the washing machine with cold water. It should not, however, go through the dryer; instead, it should be hung or laid flat to dry (a good method of doing this is folding it over a hanger or using a hanger with clips to let it dry). Following these cleaning instructions will increase the longevity of RodeoH.

Since it's really just a pair of underwear, RodeoH can be stored with your underwear in an underwear drawer, or it can also be stored with harnesses, it's really up to you. No storage area would be bad for RodeoH since its material is very resistant to environmental wear.

Packaging

The harness comes with a little drawstring cotton pouch that the harness can be folded inside of. This can be used to keep RodeoH separate from underwear, or it can be used to hold other things. It's not padded in any way, so I wouldn't suggest storing glass toys inside of it. There is a tag attached that lists the care information and a little blurb about the harness/underwear itself. Also inside the pouch is a dog tag necklace with the company logo embossed. I do not know why this is included, but it's cool, nonetheless.
