VixenAire Mustang - realistic strap-on dildo discontinued by Vixen Creations, Inc - review by OH&W, Lovebears

Vixen Creations claims to be the world’s premier manufacturer of 100% Platinum silicone toys since 1992. Their toys are hand-crafted and come with a lifetime guarantee. They also say on their website customers have described them as top of the line and heirloom quality. Under their Fox logo it states “Worth Every Inch”. From our experience with our first Vixen Creation dildo, the VixenAire Mustang we agree empathetically!

Vixen Creations is currently located in Austin, TX. However they started in the Potrero district of San Francisco, Ca. It is said a person named JR spent 2 years perfecting the formula for VixSkin. They currently have 15 dildos made of Vixskin in various sizes. The VixenAire Mustang being the latest and the first inflatable model.

The VAM is designed like all of their dildos is designed to be used in a O ring harness. What is unique and special about this one is 1) it inflates as it goes in 2) it has a “saddle” to pleasure a female giver.

It can of course be used by hand for solo pleasure or by a partner for couples play. It can be used for both vaginal and anal pleasure. It can also be ridden on. It is totally waterproof and can be used in the shower, bath or hot tub. We definitely plan on using this in our pegging adventures.

The feeling on this is the closest to the real thing. Oriental wife says it is not exact but very close. On our first use, I warmed it up between my legs before she came to bed. When she reached between my legs it took her a few seconds and a few squeezes to say, "Hey! That’s not you!" This item warms and retains body heat very well.

VixSkin is realistic feeling and has skin texture-like. It’s made of 100 % Platinum silicone. It of course is protected by a US patent. “ Once you feel it, you will see it is worth every inch.” Both of us can attest to that statement. More about that later though.

The Platinum grade silicone used has a high degree of flexibility and still resists tearing. From their website : “Our exclusive formula contains a silicone lubricant suspended between the molecules, giving a more realistic feel and greater elasticity".

Platinum grade silicone has no smell whatsoever nor can bacteria impregnate it .

VixenAire Mustang is a dual core dildo. It has a firm inner core to maintain it’s form and to bounce back when bent. The outside is extremely soft and plushy. When you run your finger down it, you will feel some resistance. When you pinch the skin with 2 fingers, it will bunch between them. It will stick slightly to anything and will attract dust, hair, etc very easily.

With it’s life-like qualities and sculpted foreskin and veins it is great for anyone wanting a realistic phallic dildo. It’s not so thick, so great for beginners and intermediates. Size queens and kings will enjoy this as a warm up toy.

One other thing about the texture of this. It is great for doing kegels being so plushy, soft squeezable. It feels so good.

VixenAire Mustang being a realistic dildo has a head with glans, folded back foreskin, and lots of veins. Down the underside on the shaft is a long thick vein. Very similar to the vein on an erect human penis. The inner core starts about 1 inch down from the head. So the first inch of the head is very very soft. It does have a slight curve for g spotting. This curve also makes it easier for deep penetration.

VAireM has a “saddle” on bottom of the base. This saddle serves 2 purposes. 1) More comfort and to stimulate the wearer when used with a harness. The saddle has 2 nubs. One on the north and the other on the south side. The purpose of the nubs is to provide stimulation to the and vagina while wore in a harness. The north nub is larger and should rub the wearer’s clit. The south nub should stimulate the vagina.


The base is filled with air

We both liked everything about the design, shape and size. It is soft, floppy yet firm enough for a good time. The
1 1/2“ width was easy for both of us to take and when inflated made for a full feeling. It is a little on the long side for both of us, but being so flexible and soft did not cause any discomfort.

Within the base/saddle of the VixenAire is a pump. When it is depressed it will inflate. When it goes in your chosen orifice and meets resistance it will start inflating. It is designed for and best used in a harness. The Mustang is the first of their dildos to get this patented inflatable design.


The head is about 1 1/2 inch long. The shaft at it’s thickest part: 1 1/2inch wide. Under the head is some foreskin folded back. Vixen states not all dildos will be exact in measurements as they are all hand crafted.
Here are my findings :
Top to bottom : 8 3/4 “ long with 6 1/2" insertable
Head : tip 3/4", widest part of head 1 1/2” and 1 3/8 in length
Shaft width :1 1/4 “ midway, widest 1 1/2" near base
Base/Saddle : 3 “ wide and about 2” long
Nubs for simulating the clit : 1 1/4” x 1”x 5/8”
Nub for simulating the vagina :1” x 3/4”x 3/4”

This realistic dildo does not have balls. We both appreciate that. While I do enjoy pegging by her, I can do w/o balls banging into me.

Measurements and it puffing up

Fully Inflated

As mentioned the VixenAire Mustang is ideally used in a harness. It does not have a suction cup nor can stand on it’s own. The inner core although flexible will maintain it’s form. Meaning it can stand up if seated in something. Here’s a pic

The base/saddle fits well in any harness accommodating 1 1/2". The soft saddle is full of air and very comfortable.
The dildo head is very small making it super easy to get in. That’s a good thing because the head is so soft it bends somewhat. We have to grasp the shaft close to the foreskin to steady the head in. Ow says it feels very much like a real cock while it is easing in. Just a little skinnier than what she is accustomed to.

Once the dildo feels some resistance it starts inflating. The more resistance the more it inflates. If it goes all the way in and the base presses against your body it will fully inflates to 2" wide and runs along the last 1 3/4 - 2". In other words the bottom of the dildo will expand from 1 1/2" wide to 2" long. However it is only filled with air. Ow said she could not tell it inflated. I, on the other hand could. Guess I’m a little tighter.


This fit fine into our Liberator Panty Harness and Spare Parts Joque.



The saddle as advertized was very comfortable to Ow and she was pegging me. She couldn’t tell if the nubs added much stimulation to her clit and vag area. She was already excited from doing me. I ordered some female stimulating clit gel and will share if that made the nubs more effective later in this review.




Bottom line: Ow gives it a 10/10. Says it feels real real good when I thrusted her with it.
For me while being pegged, I felt it slipped in & out a little too easy. However I did feel full when took its entire length and it puffed up. So I will also rate it a 10 out of 10 !

This dildo is very easy to care for. By now anyone reading reviews on EF should know Silicone is one of the safest materials and easiest to take care of. It will collect dust and hair easily though. We wash it before and after use. It can be cleaned with warm water and soap. It is non porous and germs will not get harbored anywhere. It can be boiled for 3 mins or tossed in the dishwasher. Vixen recommends not to store it with other toys. It comes with an nice plastic container for storage. We use the entire jar or a large baggie when traveling. In the bedroom we leave it on just the cap for easy access. Being silicone you can not use silicone lube with this. Doing so will void the lifetime warranty. Vixen recommends water-based lubes.

Of course if sharing be sure to use condoms or wash properly in between.

The VAM came in a plastic tube with it's logo on it. There were not any instructions. On EdenFantasys and Vixen Creations websites, you can find plenty of information.



There is also a black cap not shown on the pic. We use the top as a holder/base on our bed stand.

This is our first Vixen dildo and will not be the last. We already been reading reviews and specs for our next one.
Very possible there will be a Bandit sitting next to our inflatable MustangAire soon. This is the best, smoothest dildo in our stash. Not the largest but, Man It feels so good ! It’s a must have for anyone’s collection. Warning ! It can be addicting !

Ow was the first to experience our new innovative dildo. We were both eager to see and feel it puff up. After washing it I jumped in bed first and warmed it up between my legs. When she came to bed I positioned it in front of my penis. She always grabs me when getting under the blankets. She caress what she thought was me. After a few strokes she realized it was our new lifelike dildo.

She warmed up with a U shape vibe. To make sure she would not feel any discomfort I sucked the dil a little to wet it. I inserted just the head and let her take over. I asked her, “How does it feel. She replied with a smile,” almost real”. After 5 mins she asked me to take over. She said, “Honey you know what to do. “Being thinner than most our other dils, it went in and out fairly easily. I asked if she can feel it puffing up. She said, “Not really”. So I thrusted faster and much harder. Still no moans, just smiles. I then left the entire thing in her and squeezed the base/saddle hard and often. Still she said couldn’t feel it expanding but did feel full.

The next outing she rode it on the bench in our shower. She sat on it while holding the base since there is not a suction cup. I could see it puffing up but she said she could not really feel it. She then rode the Eden Mega Silicone Realistic Dil. We reviewed the mega Sept 2015.

The latter being 1 7/8" wide, I know she felt that one. She said both were nice and preferred the VixenAire Mustang for use in the shower due to it's flexibility.

My turn came the next day. We normally use several dils in our pegging play. Always start with the Fun Factory Share, then the BS Is Nice by Atelier dildo with a good amount of Slippery Stuff water-based lubricant. Next came the VixenAire Mustang in our Joque harness. She said the air padded saddle was very soft and comfortable. She slid it in me with very little effort. I could not tell if it expanding as it went in. When fully inserted, she pumped the saddle vigorously. That made for a pretty full feeling. 6 1/2" is about my max. I wasn’t sure if the fullness was because it inflated or due to the length. Anyway it felt so good, I asked her to continue. We normally go for about an hour and rotate my favorite dils. I will definitely add this to the rotation! As for the nubs, she says she could feel them, but didn't do much. It could be hard to tell since pegging already is a big turn on for her.

On my next session we applied some G female stimulating gel to the clit nub. We were hoping the enhanced sensitivity would add to the adventure. She stated it was better with the gel than without. No orgasm for her though. We didn’t expect one anyway. On our next session she will make sure the nub is seated on her clit the entire time. We will be sure to report the results on our follow up review.

Well, I have something to report. I waited a couple of days before submitting this review. I wanted to proof read it. This morning when I went to bring our laundry basket to the wash room, I noticed the Joque harness has some dried whitish stuff on the inside crotch area. Appeared to be cum/fluid. I showed it to OW and asked if she did indeed cum from the nubs and clit cream.
She smiled and said, “maybe I did, maybe I didn’t”. So I guess we will have to try it again next weekend and find out. That’s fine with me, looking forward to it !
