The Clear U is a distinctive double dildo that can work well as a butt plug or potentially kegel exerciser.


Either end is insertable, with a rounded head featuring raised bumps and a larger, almost ball shaped bulbous head that I used primarily. This doesn't work well for long, hard thrusting as only about half the toy can be inserted due to the strongly angled shape, but that should alleviate any concerns of "losing" the toy during anal use. The angle on the bumpy end might be too sharp for comfortable internal stimulation, but the prominent bumps make for a sure grip on the slippery glass:



The large size and the angle of the bulb end also provides for good control even with lube.

This is made from borosilicate (pyrex) glass. Very little lube is required compared to other materials but this toy will not bend or compress like silicone, rubber, etc.

The glass is very smooth and has no texture except for the bumps on the handle/stimulator end.

Glass works well for temperature play, either heated in warm water or chilled in cool water.

Insertable length is listed as 3 1/2" while circumference is 5" and diameter is a respectable 1 5/8"; this is not a toy to take on quickly. The 6.5 oz weight of the toy is not to be taken lightly and provides a light tug if worn walking.

The toy offers a distinctive shape, more akin to the Njoy Pure Wand than many other dildos or prostate massagers because of its large length and dual ends. I think a continuous curve instead of the two angles might have been better but I've never tried the Pure Wand...yet! The dual angles were not uncomfortable for me but somewhat limiting, as in the relatively short insertable length. The angled shape did make solo play much easier though.

The size and shape ensure that this is definitely not getting lost in your rectum (if you manage it, I would be impressed and somewhat horrified). The bulb end can be worn as an anal plug and is comfortable to walk around with, giving the sensation of a curled under tail that sometimes brushed my scrotum, but not recommended for sitting. Maybe if someone were very, very large they could feel the bumps externally with the bulb end inserted, but there was a major gap there for me. I assume this is meant to accommodate a large set of anatomies because glass is very inflexible, but it did defeat the purpose of the external stimulator that could not reach anything.

The Clear U is unique in my experience because it is similar to G-spot/prostate massager dildos such as the Onyx or the Amethyst in shape, but can still be worn as a butt plug or probably as a kegel exerciser. This versatility is appealing to me but I still ended up using it mostly as a dildo so far. I can't see it as harness compatible but because it's glass vibration should be transmitted well. Something new to try!

Glass is one of the easiest materials to maintain, just apply soap and water after use. It can be sterilized to share with others using bleach or boiling, and it is very durable as a material. I've stored mine in the bubble wrap and bag it came in and it's gone through TSA and bag check handling in the outer pocket of my suitcase several times without damage.

Packaging was minimal but effective. No instructions were included so you can use your imagination! The toy came in bubble wrap, inside a toy bag, with a covering of paper.

I was really hoping the bumps would work as a perineum stimulator, similar to the Aneros line of toys. However, having the toy fully inserted and contacting the perineum would probably eliminate much of the flexibility as a dildo so I think it works well as a crossover.

The big bulb has come closer to delivering a prostate orgasm for me than any other toy I have used so far, which is pretty impressive to me given the array from the picture above. I can't say that it's had the best hands free stimulation but it's provided some impressive strength to orgasms during solo play but it doesn't feel just right. I don't see this being viable during sex, except perhaps low motion positions like laying on my side.
