I'm also curious why the toy can't be boiled. -
The packaging on the back says to avoid extreme heat or cold such as boiling. In all actuality, while you can boil glass toys, some types of glass and compositions *may* not hold up well to it long-term. We've never had any of ours break, but it's something to consider. -
