The original vac-u-lock - realistic dildo discontinued by Doc Johnson - review by Peg

This is a great item for anyone looking for a realistic looking larger than average dildo. It is available in beige or pink (we got the pink one). The dildo is designed to be used with a harness for strap-on play but can be used without a harness since it is on the long side. Anyone looking for a larger toy to be used vaginally or anally should be pleased with this dildo. The flared base makes is safe to use anally if using it without a harness. One should use care when thrusting with this dildo until they are used to its size since it can easily reach ones cervix or be to long for some to handle anally.

The dildo is made from silicone and is non-porous, phthalates free, hypo-allergenic, and latex free. It has a realistic texture and shape and is bendable but firm. The texture is noticeable during use and adds nicely to the stimulation. The size should be considered if the one using is not used to larger size dildos. We did not notice any smell from the toy but did not perform any taste test.

Having both a vac-u-lock harness and an o-ring style harness this was a great addition to our toy collection. The dildo works well with both harnesses and installing and removing the dildo from either harness was pretty simple. The o-ring that fits it best is in the 1 1/2" range and using the lubricating powder that is used with the vac-u-lock system is a must. When using the vac-u-lock harness the plug adds about another 1/2" to the overall girth at lat one inch of the dildo so keep that in mind when sizing things up. The length of the dildo takes up some room so that needs to be considered if you plan on taking this guy on a trip with you.

The realistic shape and texture should be considered since if this is found by some there will be no mistaking its intended use. The size it not something someone would want to try for a first time dildo unless they are already used to large insertions of another sort. The overall length is 8" and all but the last 1/2" can be inserted if one can accommodate that much length. The diameter is about 1 1/2" and definitely will stretch you out. The combined dimensions gives one that full feeling.

The best thing that we enjoyed about the dildo was its versatility. Regardless of which harness we wanted to use the dildo could be used on any of them. There have been times in the past where the dildo chose the harness, now that is a thing of the past with this addition. The length of the dildo caused it to droop in the o-ring style harness while the vac-u-lock gave more of an erect appearance. With either harness you do want to make sure the harness is secured firmly because of the size of the dildo.

Being made of silicone only water based lubricants should be used with this dildo and when used anally LOTS of lube. The toy was easy to clean since none of the texture had any deep or hard to reach areas. The dildo can be cleaned with and wiped down with any toy cleaner or anti-bacterial soap and water and disinfected by placing in boiling water for around three minutes. We keep ours stored in the original blister pack it was packaged in for storage.

The dildo comes packaged in a plastic blister pack that serves as a great storage container to keep it free from dust.

The dildo provided an excellent pegging session however there was lots of preparation before use. The overall diameter was wonderful but due to anatomical limitations the entire length turned out to be more that could be accommodated. We enjoyed reviewing the dildo but will probably reserve this one for special occasions.
