The Love Rider Dual Penetrator by California Exotics is another great concept toy by a fantastic, quality manufacturer. Unfortunately, the reality of this strap-on is a bit disappointing. Designed to be worn by a male partner with one strap around his shaft, and another around his testicles, we found this toy to be uncomfortable for him, and less than satisfying for me.

Intended for partner play, it could also work well attached to the right dildo or vibrator to create a dual penetration situation.

It's small size makes it a great starter toy for anyone new to toys, either vaginally, or anally.

Because it is silicone, with no vibrating or electrical parts, it can be used anywhere, from the bedroom to the shower.

It's small size allows for easy storage, although, I wouldn't leave it out, as it's very detailed/veined shaft is far from discreet. It's size is also makes it a travel friendly product, although I'd be embarrassed to put it through a metal detector at the airport.

This strap on is made of high quality silicone, the best material available for toy manufacturing. Rating as a 10 on the Eden Fantasy Safety scale, you can rest assured to the quality when buying this product.

Silicone is smooth, and non-porous, which makes it sanitizable. The features of silicone include;

Silicone repels, dirt, dust and lint, and will stand the test of time, without breaking down. It also allows for a temperature play, meaning if you rest the toy in a warm glass of water before us, it will carry the temperature with it when you take it out for play.

Although small, this toy has a natural penis shape with over exaggerated veining on the shaft. The natural, smooth penis head is a nice detail. The straps are also perfectly smooth in texture. The is a bit rigid, which is preferable for penetration, rather than too soft, and floppy.

Even sealed in a plastic bag within the box, I did not notice any odor when opened.

The Love Rider is designed with the a real penis appearance, although much smaller in size. The dildo has a well shaped, smooth head, and a veiny, slighly curved shaft. The penis is small at the head, about the size of a human thumb and gets slightly bigger as you move down the shaft towards the base.

With an overall length of 6", an insertable length of about 5", it has a circumference of 4", and 1-1/8" diameter at the widest point. Unless this is your first dildo, it will probably leave a lot to be desired. Though it make work well for those new to anal play.







The ring to go around your shaft, at it's narrowest point is about 1-1/8"x3/4", while the ring to go around the testicles is about 1-3/4"x1-1/4" unstretched. It is easy to imagine how tightly this will be on the average man...no comfortable.

This toy does not have any extra bells and whistles, no vibrating bullet, or rotating parts. It is a straight forward dildo, only designed to be worn around you're partner's penis. The unfortunate truth of this toy is that it probably won't fit partner, at least not comfortable. If your partner is unable to wear it, it can always be used by hand, although it's size may be a bit disappointing to most.

Adding a vibrating feature to this strap on dildo would make it a much better toy.

Being silicone, it is very easy to clean, and even sanitize. For a quick clean, warm soap and mild detergent work well, or an actual toy cleaner will also work. It can be fully sanitized by boiling for (3) minutes, or putting in the top rack of your dishwasher.

If sharing with a partner, or multiple partners, the best way to keep it sanitary is to use it with condoms. Condoms won't just keep it clean, but, also help from spreading bacteria and STDs.

It's size makes it easy to store, either in a drawer, or you toy box, but as is the case with all toys, it's best to keep them separated from each other to prevent a negative material interaction that could damage the toys.

The strap-on was packed in a simple box with pictures on the front and back, with a simple description on the side in several languages. When I opened the box, the toy was sealed in a bag inside. The packing materials were minimal, easy to open, and recyclable.

We were excited to receive this strap-on, and eager to put it to use. The idea of it is great, although, the actual product is a bit disappointing. Hubby, had a lot of trouble actually getting it on, as the rings for the erection and to put around the testicles are both very small/tight, and are difficult to stretch. When he finally did get it on, he couldn't keep it on for long because it was much too tight.

He ended up using it on me by hand, first anally while we had sex, but because of it's small size it was very disappointing. We then tried it vaginally, which again was very disappointing, I then had him join the toy vaginally at the same time. Because of the toy's small size, and hubby's larger than average size, it made for some intense double penetration.

Later on, as I was stroking him, I used the toy on him anally, which he said was ok, but again too small for any real pleasure.

Because we were using it in different orifices and sharing it, we planned ahead and used condoms, which on their own didn't want to stay on, so we kind of had to hold them on at the base of the toy.

If they had made this toy larger, with a more realistic size, stretchier harness rings, it would have been a great strap-on dildo. I hope they will revisit this design, and rework it to make the perfect toy.
