The Ladylove by Eden Toys is a wonderful beginner set for couples who are new to strap-on play in the bedroom. The set includes a harness and dildo that are easy to set up and put on for beginners, and the dildo features a flat round base that's safe for anal use without the worry of the toy becoming "lost" if used without the harness.

The Dildo :

The dildo is made from 100% silicone, and is hypoallergenic, latex and phthalate-free. The toy has a slight scent when first removed from the packaging, but it quickly dissipates after the first wash. The toy has a lot of drag, so users will definitely want to use a nice water-based lubricant with the toy. Only use water-based lubricants with silicone toys unless otherwise tested on an inconspicuous area. The material is a lint and dust magnet, so toy wipes may need to be kept on hand.

There is a texture on this toy and it is raised, so if you're aware that you don't like texture, this toy may not be for you. Combined with the amount of drag the material creates, users will definitely feel the texture of this toy in use. It features a swirled texture that goes around the shaft making this toy look almost like a penguin in the side view. At the bottom of the toy, there is a smooth base, which doubles as a suction cup. The suction cup of the toy is pretty strong, and holds to a flat, smooth surface well.



The size of the toy is average, and the dildo is good for beginners because it is not intimidating. It features an upward curved head for g-spot or p-spot play, and a fairly straight, thick shaft. For beginners, this can be both fulfilling and filling at the same time.

The toy can be washed with hot soapy water, boiled, bleached with a 10% solution (90% water), put in the top rack of the dishwasher, or cleaned with toy cleaner. The Harness :

The Harness is well made for a beginner strap-on. It features click buckles, stretchy elastic, and a neoprene construction. Neoprene is waterproof, but this harness should not be submerged due to the elastic waistband. The front of the harness where the toy goes through the hole is made from this neoprene material, and it is stretchy and smooth to the touch. There are no snaps like that of an o-ring harness, and the hole in the front of harness is limited to smaller toys fitting through, and the toy that comes with the harness stretches the limits of the hole.



The harness is soft to the touch, and is easily slipped on over the hips without undoing the buckles. With the proper adjustments to the waist and g-string strap, users will be good to go every time they slip the harness on. A downside to the elastic construction is that this harness is not built to last a lifetime, and is geared more toward beginner use only. Eventually, the elastic bands may wear out or dry rot with age. If the elastic begins losing its elasticity, it will be time for a new harness altogether.

When cleaning this harness, it should be done by hand and allowed to air-dry. Do not toss this harness into the dryer, as the material can melt or the elastic may stretch out beyond repair. Fold the harness and store in a cool, dry area out of direct sunlight. It can easily be folded into an underwear or sock drawer away from sight.

This harness is not meant for plus sizes, so anyone over size 18/20 will not fit in this harness. The harness stands up well to use, and the toy did not have any problems when in the harness. It secured the toy well and it did not droop when the harness was fitted correctly.

Packaging :

The toy was packaged discreetly and came in a plain, cardboard box. There weren't any indicators on the outside of the box to suggest there was an adult item inside, and the address was also discreet. Inside of the box, the toy was nestled under packing pillows to keep it from bumping around in shipment. The toy and harness came packaged inside of a plain cellophane bag.
