No Need For Thrust

This is an interesting toy with a design that is eye catching in addition to feeling great in the body. While it is not perfect, if you are looking for something high quality but a little different from a standard dildo, this is a good fit.

Use

The Jollies Thrust is, ironically enough, designed not for thrusting but for slow, focused internal stimulation. The curve of the toy aims for the g/p-spot while the base of the toy allows for the accommodation of a mini-vibe to increase both external and internal pleasure. While the toy can certainly be used for fun solo play the base is designed to fit into an o-ring harness, and it seems like a natural choice for strap-on play for both male and female receivers.

Material / Texture

The thrust is made out of silicone so it's somewhere between soft and firm but with plenty of flexibility. The toy is entirely smooth so those looking for a more textured toy may want to look elsewhere.

Design / Shape / Size

Is it a comma? An elephant's trunk? Modern art? Either way, one of the main draws of the toy for me was its odd and intriguing shape. It may not be quite abstract enough to leave out as a centerpiece on your kitchen table, but it is an artfully designed non-realistic dildo. The curved shape allows for excellent internal stimulation, and both my partner and I found it to work well with our anatomy. The curved area for the vibrator, unfortunately, can be uncomfortable for thrusting but otherwise works well for providing good diffuse vibrations throughout the entire toy.

Performance

The Thrust performs excellently when used for slow and deep stimulation. Whether in a harness or not, this is a dildo that is designed and functions best when your mindset is "slow but steady" not "screw my brains out." The toy's flexibility is an excellent feature since the curve of the toy would otherwise be a little awkward to insert. The toy functions perfectly in a harness, though the wearer should be careful not to thrust too hard as the vibrating bump can be slightly uncomfortable during penetration.

Care and Maintenance

Since the Thrust is made out of silicone, care and cleaning is very easy for the toy. It can be boiled for cleaning but, as with most silicone toys, it tends to pick up lint/dust/hair pretty easily so I recommend at least rinsing it before use (or storing it in a totally lint/dust free environment). It can be used with just about any kind of lube, but silicone lubes should be avoided to prevent the toy from bonding with the liquid silicone.

Packaging

This toy is one of the least packaged toys I have seen in a long time. It arrived in just a plastic baggie inside a box with nothing more than a card giving its name and the web-address of the company. While I love it when toys come with a nice storage case, I also appreciate when companies don't load a toy into excessive packaging.

Personal comments

I really liked the design of this toy, and while I don't think it will be our go-to dildo for strap-on use, it is certainly a standout in our collection as a very unique, though slightly specific, design.
Follow-up commentary
Admittedly we still like the Jollies Thrust, but it is just one of those toys that does not see a lot of use. Whether it is the odd shape throwing things off or the fact that we have a lot of other toys we like more this is a toy that just has not been a superstar for us.

Ironically the Thrust is best when it is just inserted and slowly drawn back and forth, rather than actually thrusted, and is a little awkward to get in and out of a harness's O-Ring since its base is more squared than most circular O-Ring holes.

But while the Thrust may not be for us, it is still a well designed and interesting looking toy and I can see other couples who enjoy slower stimulation and find the curves match their anatomy well seeing this toy as the perfect companion.

So if it's not good for thrusting, what works best?
  • Contributor: Ciao.
Gentle in and out motion, the real issue we found is just that overly eager thrusting meant discomfort. Your results may vary of course, but it certainly is great for gentler play.

Thanks for drawing my attention to this toy. It's my shape (if that makes sense) Unfortunately, I see that it's discontinued. I think even the company is gone now. Pity. Thanks for the review
