Out of the box, the Shiny Orglassm is indeed shiny. It’s girly in a good way. It’s also got a certain heft to it – glass toys are denser than most others and the Shiny Orglassm certainly belongs on the heavier end of the weight spectrum.

The Shiny Orglassm’s weight is put to good use when it comes to getting down and dirty with that lovely, nobby glass phallus.

Penetration is comfortable, but not necessarily smooth given the round ball at its head. This ball makes for excellent g-spot stimulation, but it also means that you shouldn’t expect a friction-free entry.

The length is remarkably comfortable. The Shiny Orglassm is long. That means that manipulation of the dildo once inserted is very easy. Rather than fumbling for a hold on a slippery dildo poking out an inch from my vagina, the Shiny Orglassm’s length meant that I had plenty of room for a both a firm hold and complete penetration.

The base is easy to grasp and the base’s relatively small size means that it fits in the palm of your hand completely. With most toys I would consider such a small base a drawback, but given the material, that’s actually a bonus in this case. Lubricant on glass allows dildos to slide like a dream. That’s great for penetration, not so much when your hands are covered with astroglide. If you’re trying to get enough of a grip to do yourself properly, a small base is the way to go with glass toys.

The Shiny Orglassm’s curves and the ball head make for outstanding g-spot stimulation. The ball rests perfectly in the g-spot and the dildo’s weight makes for outstanding, easy-to-apply pressure.

What really gets lost in all of this are the bumps lining the Shiny Orglassm’s shaft. I had expected the sensation to be pronounced given their size, but I really couldn’t feel much direct stimulation.

The ball at the head is substantial enough to deter a lot of in-and-out thrusting. Once it’s in past the pubic bone the Shiny Orglassm can be slid around a bit, but space is limited considering you’re playing entirely around the vaginal canal. The angles of the shaft also make that kind of back-and-forth a challenge.

For the bumps to be effective, they need to pass along the entrance to the vagina. That certainly happens, but not to an extent that one can say the Shiny Orglassm is all about those bumps. This is a g-spot dildo that happens to have bumps on the shaft. This is not a dildo with bumps that happens to also stimulate your g-spot.

As with all toys made from tempered glass, the Shiny Orglassm is compatible with all lubricants. It’s non-porous and hypoallergenic. It can be boiled, bleached, thrown in the dishwasher, or cleaned with that old standby – soap and warm water.
