Sportsheet’s Sedeux Glam is, in fact, glamorous, with a shiny, jewel-tone purple that nearly glows in the light, so big points from the start for honesty in advertising! It is also 100% silicone, so body-safe, body-friendly, non-absorbent, easy to clean, and, at 5 ½ inches long, just cute as all get-out. Silicone toys just continue to make me happy, especially the way they balance give and flexibility with firmness and a solid, hefty feel. Only two minor drawbacks to silicone: one must be careful of one’s choice of lubes (water-based only!), and one must be aware that everything sticks to silicone, the main culprit in my life being flannel sheet lint and the dog hair that seems to float through the house of its own accord.

The Glam’s other great feature is the shape. While the circumference is listed as 3 ¾, it has several smooth ridges around the body, such that it gets subtlety thicker and thinner, smallest right where it joins the base. These aren’t large enough to feel distinctly if the dildo is moved in and out, but add to the overall effect. The sensation is most like the knuckles on fingers, which I love, since I really can’t figure out why more dildos are shaped to have the sensation of fingers or hands, which do cause such amazing sensations when used well. Ahhhhhhhhh. Ummmmmm. Oh, yeaaaaaaaaaah.

But back to the review. I do really like the Glam, but one warning who those who want a small dildo to use for strapping on. Although the Glam is described by Sportsheets as harness and o-ring compatible, its shape might make this difficult. The base is very small, only about 2 ¼ inch diameter, yet is thick for its size. The dildo rises from one side of the base, giving it an odd angle in a harness. I’ve also used the similarly sized Tantus silk, and it’s wider, flatter base feels more secure as a strap-on – although I prefer the size and shape of the Glam.

Overall, though, this is a great little toy. Small enough to play “Surprise!”, and pretty enough to wear on a date. And reasonably priced – why spend money on plastic or part-silicone dildos that can’t be cleaned when you can get Glam?
Experience
The whole world of butt toys and anal sex is still new to me, so I’ve been going slowly. One finger is nice, two are nicer, and these two-finger sized dildos are also quite nice. All best advice has been to use plenty of lube, and a thick lube at that, and all best advice has been right. I like Maximus, which is thick and slippery (and water-based so safe for all my various toys), and comes in a very convenient pump dispenser – no trying to put a lid back on with lubed-up hands!

So I went slowly with my Sedeux Glam. The size, for me as a novice, is just big enough to feel the stretch while staying firmly in the realm of fun. While I can’t say that I felt the individual ridges while moving the Glam gently in and out, I can say that the overall sensation was smooth, full, and stimulating. I know from biology that the wall between the anus and vagina is thin and sensitive, but hadn’t experienced this until playing with anal dildos – while the sensation is not as firm or urgent as having pressure directly on the g-spot, I can feel g-spot stimulation and all those lovely nerve endings around the anus. I still need direct clit contact to reach orgasms, but for me these are certainly stronger with internal pressure.

If you’re curious about anal penetration, the Sedeux Glam is a great first toy. It would also be wonderful if you simply like small vaginal dildos. Also good if you just like shiny, pretty things. And its size and firm texture, with just a little give if squeezed hard, makes it perfect for hand-clenching exercises to repair worn muscles or nerves. Heck, what isn’t this thing good for?
Follow-up commentary
Months later, and I'm still loving my Glam! 100% silicone is always worth the investment, especially compared to hard plastic or TPR toys. The former are simply too stiff, and the latter lack both the firm bendiness and body-safe cleanliness of the real deal.

I tried strapping her on one day, after acquiring a set of smaller O rings for my interchangeable leather harness, and, as I suspected, the uneven base made this challenging. Mainly though, I'm a big girl, and my Glam that seems quite large in me looked woefully out of proportion strapped on. Anyway, I like having this dildo as a personal, mine all mine, nope you can't use it, jealous? get your own, toy.

The Glam is not a toy I use often, but is the perfect size and firmness when I want her. And the metallic purple is so pretty I'm tempted to put her on a shelf, but for two factors -- I'm too shy for that, and I'm afraid my dog might decide this is the best chew toy ever.

I love how this looks but I can see how the uneven base would make it difficult to work with.

LOL, love the bit about the hand clenching exercises. So this thing can be used as a 'stress ball'? I'd love to be balled by it!
Thanks for the very thorough review.

Interesting review. I never really considered thinking of dildos as being finger-like objects rather than phallus-like.
