Packaging-
I was excited when my partner and I first ordered the Heart Strap-On & Dildo set by Sportsheets, as we have a few other harnesses. I was curious to see how this one compared with the likes of Fetish Fantasy, or Spartacus. It arrived in nice packaging, which had an unusual shape to it. The box was adorned by images of the product, and modelled nicely on the front. I wasted no time in opening it to examine its contents.

Specifications & Care-
The set contains a harness made from nylon and PVC, and a dildo made from silicone.

*The Dildo
The dildo measures in at six inches with about five and a half inches insertable. It has a circumference of four inches at its widest. My initial impression was that it was a nice shape; it has a bit of a curve and a slightly bulbous head. It has a shape and size that make it ideal for beginners, or for warming up. It is made of silicone which is one of the safest materials you can get for toys. It is non-porous, latex and phthalate free. It has a great deal more softness to it, then you would expect from a silicone toy. It is substantially softer than the majority of tantus silicone toys. There is a bit of cling to the surface, so unless you are incredibly warmed up, then lube is essential. As with all silicone toys, make sure to use a water based lubricant and not a silicone one, as you can damage the toy otherwise. Cleaning this toy couldn’t be easier, as it is silicone. It can be boiled to sterilise it completely, or alternatively use warm soapy water or toy cleaner. As it can collect dust I recommend storing it in a zip-seal bag.

*The Harness
The harness is fully adjustable and can accommodate up to a sixty inch waist. The leg straps are also more than ample and can accommodate anything up to thirty-two inches each. The straps for the harness are made of nylon and are adjusted by using plastic fixtures. The centre of the harness is made from red PVC in the shape of a heart, and looks really good as the PVC gives off a nice shine. It has a standard rubber o-ring (1.5” diameter), which is held in place by four nylon straps with steel fasteners. The reverse side has a nice soft material similar to velvet. The heart portion of the harness is fully removable from the straps and fasteners; this makes it very easy to clean.

Use-
The set is very easy to use. The straps all adjust very easily and tighten up well. The harness is designed so that the four straps that hold the o-ring are part of the main body of the harness, so when you tighten the harness these hold the o-ring/dildo firmly in place. This set up is a little different to the harnesses we own, so I was very interested to see how well it would work. I am pleased to say that it worked very well. The dildo is a good toy, made from a hygienic and safe material. It is an ideal beginners/warm up toy, as it is slimmer than some other toys, and has a bit of softness to it. The actual o-ring straps are designed the reverse of most, in that they loop over the o-ring and close upward, rather than coming up underneath the o-ring and fastening downward. It makes it a little more difficult to close but it is not a major problem.

Summary-
This harness/dildo set is a good buy for anyone interested in strap-on play. It looks really pretty as the red PVC heart shines nicely. The nylon straps do look a bit plain/boring but they are functional. The dildo is made from silicone and is available to buy separately, but if you were going to buy it then I recommend the set as the harness is a solid investment. It is simple but attractive in design, and fairly easy to use. It comes with enough excess strap to fit practically any size. If you are looking for a bigger toy or something a bit firmer, then it would be worth investing in one of fetish fantasys strap-on sets, but this set would be ideal if you are looking to test the water when it comes to strap-on play.
