When I first opened the Secret Lover, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and just how realistic it is. It feels velvety soft, nice, and rigid but still flexible enough to work with you. The size is big enough to be fun and fill in if I need a break, but not so big that I get jealous, lol. It is a little challenging to spot the controls, especially in a poorly lit room, but once you get it on it, the area where the controls are lights up, which is a bit distracting in a dark room. The fact that it is rechargeable and waterproof is a bonus. I was excited to get it fully charged up and see what my wife thought of it.

Knowing my wife is up for almost anything, I decided to sneak this one into the rotation. Our first use came after some foreplay, she was lying on her back, and I lubed up what needed to be lubed and slowly put this toy to work. Except for the light of one candle burning, the room was dark, and she knew something wasn’t quite right, but before she could ask, I turned on the vibrations. Thankfully the first setting is a low one, and it didn’t start with too much of a bang. She just smiled and let out a little moan. As I was working through the different vibrations, the only real flaw in this toy became quite clear; with every vibration, there is a red light inside the top side toward the base that lights up in sync with the vibrations. While not a deal-breaker, this isn’t the best bit of engineering in this item, and I’d prefer it didn’t have that built-in.

Since that first experience, we have used this vibrator several times in various rooms and positions. My wife loves how soft the toy feels and how rigid it is. We have a small bench seat in our shower, and let’s just say the suction cup base was put to a good test a few days ago. It performed beautifully. She mentioned that she felt like the balls got in the way a bit while using it this way, but only enough to warrant noting in this review. It also performed very well while stuck to the shower sidewall, which is now her preferred position when using the suction cup. The suction is very strong and not at all easy to accidentally release. The 10 different vibration functions are great for mixing things up, but her favorite is actually the 11th function...turbo!

The vibrations of the Secret Lover can be quite powerful, depending on your preferred setting. There is plenty of variety to choose from, and I think some of the patterns are really different from other toys and exciting.

In our humble opinion, the best way to use this toy is internally. We choose a vibration that she really likes, insert slowly and deeply, manually work her sweet spot until she gets close then I hit the turbo button and send her over the edge. It is an ultra-intense boost that takes things to a whole other level. My wife has had many very intense orgasms with the Secret Lover this way.
