Pass on this probe, if you like to feel full.

Overall, Crystal Passion G-Spot Probe was a miss for me. For someone who is experienced with dildos and enjoys a feeling of 'fullness', you might want to pass. It might be okay as a warm up to something bigger, but it just felt like a let down.

Use

This dildo is interesting, and sets up a lot to be desired. It's bent for maximum g-spot targeting, has an attractive clear, glassy look, smooth nubs for stimulation, and a suction cup base for use in the shower, on a wall, on the floor... you get the idea. It can also be used in a harness (which I have not tried). Because of that flared suction cup base, it is also safe to use anally; however, if one were to use this toy both vaginally and anal and/or with multiple users, it should be sheathed with a condom, because it cannot be sterilized. Overall, it reads like a great, multi-use, versatile toy.

Unfortunately, when it comes to performance, it fell a little short, for me--figuratively and literally.

Material / Texture

When I removed the probe from the clamshell packaging, the first thing I noticed was the lack of smell, which is a good thing. I put it up close to my nose and detected a faint hint of something plasticky but it dissipated quickly. It's totally clear, which looks really neat. The shaft is straight and then slightly bent, for g-spot stimulation and covered in smooth nubbies. It was smooth to the touch; no seams or rough patches anywhere. The base is textured, but not rough. It's firmer than something like jelly, more on par with a silicone toy. It has slight bend and give.

The PVC material is smooth, and didn't get tacky to the touch, nor did I notice it collect lint or dust.

Design / Shape / Size

The dildo is pretty to look at. No doubt about it. It's crystal clear, shiny, and almost glassy looking. With the slight bend, the gentle texture, it's really beautiful.

It was easily insertable and the flared base gave something to hold on to while thrusting; I liked the base. Bearing in mind that everyone's anatomy is different, the bend on this toy was pretty dead on for hitting the right spot on me.

The dildo measured for me at 7 inches total length, with 6 inches insertable. The shortcoming I found wasn't in the length, but in the girth. The shaft is 4.5 inches in circumference, and the nubs are just about 0.5 inches thick, but it just felt small to me. I had a hard time really enjoying it because while it was hitting my g-spot perfectly, I felt like it took some work to keep it in the right spot since it felt so narrow. I felt like it didn't stay in place properly. I also didn't notice any added stimulation from the nubs on the shaft.

I feel like for someone who is new to dildos in general, it may be enough, but for my body specifically, it left me wanting more.

Performance

What I loved best about the toy was the specific g-spot targeting. It was easy to slide in, and immediately find my g-spot and get to work. Like I mentioned before, the downfall was keeping it there. It is so smooth and easy to insert that I didn't get that 'stretched' feeling of fullness that I enjoy, and it made it difficult to keep it pleasing the right area. With the addition of lube and natural wetness, it became too slippery, as in, to the left and right, not just in and out.

I tried using it on a wet surface, using the suction cup base, and the same problem happened. At first, its great, but keeping it in the right place is just plain frustrating. The suction cup itself works well, just needs to be on a wet surface to create that suction. It held up for me on both the floor and the shower wall without slipping.

Care and Maintenance

PVC is a plastic, and a 2 on the material safety list. It's easily maintained, needing only a good wash with soap and water between uses. Toy cleaner is another option. If you were you use it both vaginally and anally, a condom would be the safest route, as it can't be sterilized. Both silicone and water based lubricants can be used with this toy.

Packaging

Crystal Passion came in basic plastic clamshell packaging. It was easy to open, and easy to toss in the trash. It is not worth keeping (in my opinion) and didn't come with any sort of instructions on use, just some light information about the material and a brief description of the toy.
