The gorgeous Black Rose Harness is a non-intimidating, elegant harness/dildo kit perfect for those new to strap-on toy play, but with enough spunk to excite advanced users as well. The kit comes with a harness, G-spot efficient dildo, 2 O-rings, and a container of powder for dusting the dildo, although I was able to use it without needing that. It's possible the cornstarch powder will help prevent the drag of the material.

Besides being pretty to look at and easy to use, this kit also has an adjustable harness that will likely fit almost any user.

This strap-on harness kit is best used between couples. The nice thing about this is it can be used both anally and vaginally. A female can wear the strap-on and use it to penetrate a partner anally or vaginally, so this makes it great for those in heterosexual relationships where the male partner wants to try anal play, or even for the male to wear and penetrate the female vaginally or anally. It's also perfect for use between two females or two males -- just as I explained, the wearer can penetrate the receiver anally or vaginally in whatever setting.

Another use, though uncommon and not the most ideal for this, would be to use the harness to strap the dildo onto the seat of a chair or stool (or other fitting object) and go solo with it. This isn't the most ideal use, but it does work that way as long as the object is wide enough... and safe.

You could also use the dildo itself during solo play (without the harness) and, since there is a hole in the bottom, you might be able to fit a bullet vibrator in there.

The harness straps are neoprene, the backing of the frontal pad has a soft foamy padding, and the front is lace and silk.

The black dildo is made of safe silicone. The dildo is very grabby and has a lot of drag, and also picks up lint and hair constantly. Lubricant was a necessity, but only a small amount was needed due to the comfortable size. For anal use, a thick, decent amount is needed.

The dildo is firm with very little give, but it's floppy and can easily be manipulated for rocking motion while in use. I can bend it easily using my hands, which is mostly due to the length of the toy, not because it's very flexible.

The dildo has a slight curve for G-spot stimulation, and there are three bulbs, the first being located 3" from the tip, the second being directly beneath that, and so on. The first bulb is a slight change in width to the shaft, the one below it is a bit more of a change, and the third isn't as wide as the others (exact measurements below).

There was a slight smell to the dildo before I washed it.

The harness has four straps, each adjustable via those adjusters you see on back-packs or restraint systems. One strap goes around your waist, and the other two around your thighs. The adjusters make it possible to achieve a pretty perfect fit, and the best thing is you have a lot of room to adjust!

The pad that attaches to the Vac-U-Lock and dildo will be placed directly over the pubis, much like underwear, and the two thigh straps run between your thighs.

The pad is a beautiful, deep, satiny purple with a black rose-patterned lace overlay. On the side corner is a pretty black rose, which gives this a nice feminine touch.

On the inner portion of the harness' pad is a soft, foamy pad for comfort against your skin. In between this pad and the outer decorative piece is a pocket for sliding the Vac-U-Lock piece inside. Then it snaps in place via four button snaps.

Also on the front of this pad, where the dildo will be placed, are two sturdy, rubbery O-rings. One goes directly over the dildo, situated at the base. The other can be left in place behind the dildo for later use.

The dildo, in total, is 6" long; 5 1/2" of it is insertable. It has a diameter of 1 1/2". The first bulb measures 5" around (using my measuring tape), the second not quite 5 1/2".

The harness is listed as a "one size fits most," which is true. It will adjust to fit most. The harness will fit a maximum of a 62" waist and a 40" leg/thigh. However, the box says it'll fit up to a 68" waist, but on my measuring tape I got 62." It may fit larger, but it could get tight at 68".

It fits comfortably on both myself and my partner, but it's not easily worn under clothing at all.

For me, it's a bit of a pain to put the entire contraption back together after it's been taken apart, but nothing impossible. It just takes some time. Getting the dildo situated onto the Vac-U-Lock piece is a real pain. It's very hard to get it on and off, so adding lubricant is helpful. I had a little trouble with the floppy dildo slipping out and not smoothly going right back in when thrusting. It holds the dildo perfectly in place, and is easy to put on.

Other than those things, it's extremely well made, sturdy, and fits very nicely. The bulbs on the dildo are pleasant, and the slight curve for G-spotting was nice, but doesn't bring me intense G-spot orgasms.

The straps and dildo are removable from the pad, so everything can be washed. The dildo alone can be boiled, put in the dishwasher (top rack), wiped down with a bleach solution, or washed in hot, soapy water. The straps can be tossed in the washing machine, but the decorative pad may need to be hand washed or spot-cleaned only.

You can toss the harness in a toy box or drawer, and the dildo as well, but you should be careful not to expose the silicone dildo to other toys in case of ruining the materials. It's not the easiest toy to store.

This comes nicely packaged, with each item placed in separate plastic. The harness already has the straps in, so all you have to do is attach the Vac-U-Lock and dildo, then wear.

There weren't any added instructions, but the box had a little information about the material. There is nudity on the box, and it's not good for storage as it adds even more bulk.
