The Gold Ribbed Love Wand by Phallix is an exceptionally beautiful toy, and as the name states, is ribbed with real 24-karat gold. Each of the multitude of nubs on this wand is filled with gold! This is achieved by a "fuming" process which ensures that the gold is inside the glass and will never wear off or fade. When looking at the wand straight on, it appears pink. When you look at it from the side, you can see the golden hue inside. Swirl it around and you have a spectacular color show of pink and gold polka dots. This is a very classy looking wand and I feel very fortunate to have purchased it.
I believe this glass wand to be an older toy, even though it was packaged in the newer plastic container because "Phallix" is actually etched onto the side of the toy instead of the sticker that they use now. Truly classy. It must have been repackaged, taking away the padded bag that used to accompany it. You see, Phallix used to present you with a beautiful padded bag with a beautiful toy inside. The presentation was priceless. Ah! The good old days, when quality of presentation really counted, but I digress.


Fortunately, the quality of this wand did not change. It is made of the finest Borosilicate glass which can withstand extreme temperature changes without cracking or breaking. Every step has been taken by Phallix to insure this toy is safe, including proper annealing; a time specific formula for baking and cooling that allows for its extraordinary properties and durability far beyond that of ordinary glass. In addition, a polariscope is used to detect irregularities in the glass that are otherwise invisible to the naked eye. Only toys that pass this strict test make it out to be enjoyed by toy lovers like you and I. This makes me feel really safe using Phallix toys.


I love the style and design of this wand. While it is one of my smaller glass toys, it is filled with texture. Only the rounded bulb style handle and the head of the shaft is smooth. The rest of the wand is filled with 1/4" by 1/4" rounded raised nubs. The nubs are not overwhelming as they are raised only .12" from the shaft. The texture feels most pronounced while used externally on the clitoris and other outer erogenous zones. Drove me wild! The feeling is more subtle yet still erotic on the vaginal walls when inserted. The shaft is straight and not considered to be a G-Spot dildo, but a traditional style dildo made for vaginal use. The head is bullet shaped and easy to insert. The bulb style handle makes it easy to grip while thrusting, but being only 1 1/2" wide, it is not recommended for anal use. It would be all too easy for this gem to get lost up there and require a trip to the emergency room. Embarrassing to say the least.

Recommended for those who like a moderately sized hard dildo with a dash of texture.

As stated above, The Love Wand is made of Borosilicate glass, a high quality, medical grade, body safe material. Phthalate and latex free, non-porous and hypo-allergenic, it is rated a 10 in safety which is absolutely the best. Hygienic and easy to clean, it is my very favorite choice in sex toy materials. There are no nasty smells or tastes.
To clean wash with soap and hot water making sure to get between all the little nubs where bacteria or body fluids and lubricants may hide. It takes a little time and patience, but will be well worth the extra effort. To disinfect, boil for 3 minutes or wash with a 10% bleach solution. Towel dry and store preferably in a padded bag.
Before each use, be sure to inspect your glass toy for chips in the glass. It is highly unlikely, but I like to err on the side of caution. If your glass toy ever breaks it will not shatter like regular glass, but will break into large chunks.

Glass gets along with all materials, so you can store it with all manner of other toys.
With glass you can use any lubrication, so use your favorite, but you will only need to use a dab. Glass does not absorb lube like most other toy materials, so a little will go a long way. Be sure not to over lube this toy, because of its smaller size it will be easy to become too slippery in your hand to thrust safely.

Always remember that glass is a hard and unyielding material. If using on a partner, use care while thrusting. Because of the smaller size of this wand, I do not think there is any danger of bruising the cervix; but while thrusting very fast it could slip and hurt your clit. Just saying. Learn and know the materials you are working with.

The Gold Ribbed Love Wand is no exception and is certainly worthy of display. While not in use, I will be adding this one to my collection of other dildo "art" pieces in the curio cabinet.

The Gold Ribbed Love Wand is still an amazingly satisfying toy. Not in my top 3 glass toys, simply because it is straight and has no curve. However, the texture of the nubs are quite nice. It's a beautiful toy, and I would recommend it to any glass collector or enthusiast. It'll give you a lifetime of joy!
