Rocket of Love

This would be such a fun girthy dildo for those that prefer larger toys if it wasn't made from PVC. This is one of the worst types of PVC that I have encountered. It's awful smelling, and the stench stays on your skin for hours after touching it. Plus, PVC is not a safe material unless you use a condom on it. I love the shape and size, but the PVC is just too icky.

Use

The B7 from Doc Johnson is a large dildo from their American Bombshell line. All of the products in this line play on the fact that they have been making all of their toys in America since 1976. Each toy in this line is named after some kind of bomb or missile. This specific toy is supposedly molded like a torpedo, but it just looks vaguely phallic to me.

This is a large toy, so I used it only vaginally, but for those brave souls willing to attempt it, it can also be used anally because it has a large base. If you are going to use it anally, put a condom or toy cover on it because it is made from PVC which is porous.

Material / Texture

The B7 is unfortunately made from PVC. It rates a 2 on the Eden safety scale. It is pthalate free, but it is porous, so it can keep bacteria. It would be a good idea to always use a condom with PVC toys, especially if you share them.

The PVC used has a very strong odor that stays on your hands after handling the toy. It
is still strong even after several washes. I can smell the toy as soon as I open the package.

The B7 is kind of sticky, but it goes away with a little lubrication, natural or from a bottle. You are going to want lubrication for this toy. I normally don't require any, but it was just too sticky.

The toy is firm enough to stand up under its own weight, but still flexible and squishy enough to fit anatomy. It's totally beginner friendly in texture or perfect for those of us who don't enjoy a ton of texture.

It's almost completely smooth except for the ridge of the head which creates a nice pop upon insertion. The head was great against my g-spot

Design / Shape / Size

This is not a toy that I would recommend for beginners. It may be smooth, but it is large. It's 7" in total with 6.5" insertable. I love girth, and this one is perfect for me because it is 6.75" in circumference. As I said, this is a bigger toy.

The rest of this toy is kinda bland compared to some of the other toys in this line. This is supposed to be a torpedo, but to me, it just looks like a kind of realistic phallic object. It's got a head and a smooth shaft.

The PVC is a swirled, sparkly gray that is really reminiscent of a lot of silicones, but unfortunately, it isn't. It's really pretty if you can get past the downsides of PVC.

This is not a toy that you can toss in your purse and go; it's just too big. It's also not one that I would leave out when my in laws are visiting either. Despite the fact that it's not completely realistic, how do I explain a big smelly grey phallic object?

Performance

This is a solid dildo. There is no room for a bullet at all. So, no vibrations, but also no worries about taking it with you on any of your aquatic adventures.

I can use a lot of girthy toys without a warm-up, and this is one of them. Others may have issues, though. I loved this toy. It's the right size in every way for me. I just hated the material.

It is also totally usable in a harness if you can get a ring large enough. I have a large set of metal rings that I purchased for my larger toys and one of them fits it nicely.

The B7 has a suction base that works extremely well. I have stuck it to smooth horizontal and vertical spaces. I had to actually wedge my finger under it to break the seal. It couldn't be pulled off at all otherwise.
    • Easy to use

Care and Maintenance

PVC can only be cleaned with warm water and antibacterial soap or toy cleaner. There is no way to sterilize it. The PVC is sticky and picks up a lot of lint, so I find myself washing it often.

Because it is so sticky, I store it in the the large packaging it came in because it would is fairly airtight.

You can use silicone or water based lubes with it. My water based Liquid worked perfectly with it.

Packaging

This comes in a clear plastic clam shell like so many cheaper toys. There is a paper insert that gives some size information, but nothing about how to care for it. If you are looking to give this as a gift, I would recommend devising a different package.

Follow-up commentary
This is such an amazing shape for my body, but the PVC is such a turn off. I love it, but the constant need to use a condom and the stench is getting really old. I don't foresee keeping this for much longer.
