Skinny and Bumpy

This is a good beginners glass toy. More advanced users may miss larger sizes, texture and curves, but this will still satisfy a wide range of people. It can be used with any kind of lubricant and cleaned almost any way. It is a great, basic glass dildo.

Use

The Avalon is a beautiful light purple glass dildo from SSA glass. It has no motor so the only means of manipulating it is moving it with your hands. It is good for the average user but it would also be great for a first glass toy because it is small. It is intended for vaginal use but could be used anally if you kept a firm grip on the other end because it does not have a flared base. Because it is glass, you should take care not to bruise yourself or your partner when thrusting with it. Glass is very firm and could hurt you very easily.

Material / Texture

This is a glass toy. Glass is popular because it can be sterilized in many ways and shared. It is a very firm material though so you have to be careful when using it not to bruise your cervix. It is not a realistic dildo. The glass itself is very smooth but one end has three bulges. The other end is straight and good for thrusting.

The bulged end adds sensation and provides a "popping" feeling. Glass has no odor or taste and will never retain any because glass is non-porous.

This toy is good for the average user but size queens will not be satisfied by its thin size. I would highly recommend this as someone's first glass toy.

This is a well designed toy. It is on the narrow side, although it is pretty long. Its dimensions are:

I like the two ends, a straight one more for thrusting and a bulged one for a fuller sensation.

I personally prefer a larger circumference on my toys but new users or those with narrow vaginas would like this. Size queens definitely won't like this toy but for average users and those who prefer smaller toys will be pleased. It does not have a realistic look but it is not really subtle either. It does still resemble a dildo.

Traveling with this is okay but you would need more protection for it than the provided bag gives.

Performance

This is a great beginner toy. Its narrow circumference makes it ideal. Other users might find it too small or boring. I do not consider myself to be an advanced user and I enjoyed this. It is smaller than what I would want in a perfect toy for me but it definitely works. It has no curve at all and I do prefer a curve.

Care and Maintenance

Glass is so easy to take care of. It is compatible with any kind of lubricant-- silicone, water or oil-based.

It can also be sterilized in a variety of ways, like boiling, bleaching, soap and water, toy cleaner, or even the dishwasher.

Just take care to not drop it because it does become very slippery and slick when wet.

It has no drag and will not pick up any lint so it can be stored anywhere. I keep mine in the red velvet drawstring bag it came in but it does not have any padding. You may want to invest in a padded bag for yours.
