Smooth double dong - double ended dildo discontinued by Cal Exotics - review by Lustus Mihi

When I heard that I would be getting the Smooth double dong Double ended dildo by California Exotic for review, I was a bit skeptical. I've had some rather unpleasant experiences with a few jelly toys and this one turned out to be no exception. When it arrived, I opened the Priority Mail box and was able to smell the thing before I even opened it up. I pulled out the clamshell and discovered a "U" shaped cherry red double-dong that smelled like a combination of apple-cinnamon and some indeterminate chemical.

I was alarmed at the quality - or lack thereof - of the double dong. As I washed and washed and washed it with antibacterial soap, the smell died down just a smidgeon. I could plainly see and feel where the jelly material had been melted to make it bend more easily. Mind you, it's quite floppy, but the melting on one side allows it to hold its shape a little better. I was almost afraid to test this toy, but I pressed on, hoping that it would have some fantastic quality that would make up for the experience thus far.

After several thorough scrubbings, I covered both ends of the double dong with condoms. I decided that water-based lube would be the best route, lest some spontaneous melting occur. I slathered the slightly smaller end and set to getting my freak on. I was pleasantly surprised at how easily it slid in. My ass is usually not so accommodating, but perhaps the smoothness of this toy combined with the slippery condom made it happier. Once it was in my ass deep enough that it would stay (I hoped), I proceeded to the tricky part.

While the double dong is modified to make it easier to insert both ends into the same person, it isn't modified enough to really be able to tell which way it will bend the best. Fortunately my ass didn't see the twisting as a bad thing. I finally figured it out and got the larger end into my now-frustrated pussy. Fully in place, I had to decide what to do next.

I tried thrusting with minimal success. It kept slipping out of one orifice or another. I tried thrusting one end at a time, but that was too distracting. Then I tried a somewhat reclined sitting position. That was just right. Unfortunately, I was not able to reach orgasm. I tried several more times after the initial attempt, but it was just too cumbersome.

Overall, the Smooth double dong by California Exotic was a dud for me. I found the smell to be a huge turn off, despite the apple cinnamon efforts to mask it. The quality of the materials is sub-par, at best. The idea is certainly appealing, but the execution of it was poor, indeed. This is one toy that will not be hanging about my bedroom, let alone my toy box.
