Gold spiral wrapped wand - glass wand discontinued by Phallix - review by ToyingCouple

We considered ourselves lucky to get a chance to review a Phallix glass product and couldn't wait for the package to arrive from Eden Fantasys at our door. Hopefully the delivery man couldn't see it in our eyes when he dropped off this wonderful item! Our high anticipations were cultured from reading so many other great reviews about glass toys and other people's opinions that this construction material was so awesome.

To sum it up, they were right!

The Gold Spiral Wrapped Wand is truly a thing of beauty. The pyrex glass is crystal clear with not a single imperfection in it and smooth as silk. That is unless you consider the delicious spiraled ridges looping around and around the shaft of this toy. The spiral wrapping has an amazing purple-gold hue and apparently there is real 24 karat gold used in the construction process that gives this gorgeous color. Who isn't a sucker for golden bling? If my ears and fingers can have jewelry then it only seems fair that my pussy should have some too!

Measuring in at 7" long and 3/4" diameter this wand will not stuff and stretch your nether regions but it is very versatile and rookies should be able to easily accommodate insertion. The spiral wrapping (or ridges) do not stand up too high on the shaft and I didn't have any issues with them causing discomfort, only pleasure. They could definitely be felt inside my vagina, no complaints from this girl whatsoever. The pyrex glass material is wonderful but hard as a rock. There isn't the give found with silicone or rubber toys so I certainly wouldn't want this wand pounded fast into me, jarring my insides. The glass can be heated or cooled as well for temperature sensation play (pyrex resists cracking caused by temperature changes and is used also in laboratory glassware). The bulbous end of the toy isn't big enough to prevent losing the wand if anal play is your thing so care must be exercised. Speaking of lubricants, anything slippery can be used with glass so break out that silicone based lube without fear of dissolving your best friend! The ridges hold onto the lubricant well making it last and last and last... unfortunately the trade off is that cleaning is a little more difficult after use.

Included with the gold wrapped wand is a lovely little pink silk storage bag. We actually use it to keep the wand separated from our other toys and it only seems right that this thing of beauty is kept protected. The other option is to display this prized piece of artwork in our china cabinet!
