Kayden's Frosted Ice is a fairly large dildo made of 100% platinum cured medical grade silicone. This toy will not suit everyone, and that includes me. It is meant for someone who wants a larger toy in terms of girth and length, and that can handle some texture. This dildo can be used alone or with a partner. It has a fairly large flared base which makes it harness compatible and safe for anal use.

The Frosted Ice silicone cock is made of a somewhat transparent silicone. It actually looks frosted and you can see through it. It is a firm but slightly flexible silicone that has a velvety texture that is not the least bit tacky. There is a slight seam that runs up and down the sides of the shaft and across the top. It is only slightly noticeable to the fingers, and not at all an issue when used vaginally. Silicone is a wonderful material for sex toys. It is 100% nonporous, hypo-allergenic, sterilizable, phthalates free, and completely body safe.

The design of this dildo is a somewhat phallic in that it has a fairly realistic looking head. But that's where the realistic part ends. The shaft is rather plain except for 3 pronounced oval shaped nubs that are hot pink colored, and supposedly glow under a black light. I do not own a black light so I could not tell you if this is true. On the Edenfantasys site, under the product description it states that it glows in the dark. It does not. The first thing I did when it arrived was to put it under a lamp for a while and then test it in the dark, which didn't work. Then after reading the packaging I found that it was only for black lights.

This is a pretty large dildo. It is 8 inches long with 7 of them being insertable. At the widest point of the head the circumference is 5 3/4 inches, along the shaft it is 4 1/2, and where the nubs are is 4 3/4.

The head of this dildo is very pronounced and actually had a 1/4 inch ledge or lip at the bottom of it that is quite uncomfortable, for me anyway. This ledge is very noticeable around the front half of the dildo, then it tapers somewhat around the back.

The textures created by both the ledge and the nubs are very noticeable. The nubs do rub the G-spot nicely, but I had a problem with the ledge catching on everything, like the vaginal entrance, my pubic bone. This may not be a problem for everyone and actually some people might find it quite pleasurable.

The base though a bit large is actually quite nice. It tapers out from the shaft and is perfectly flat on the bottom. I think this would work great with a harness. And it definitely would be safe to use anally.

I have other large silicone dildos which I absolutely love. Some of them even bigger than this one. So I assumed I would feel the same about this toy. But not so much. Something about how large and pronounced that ledge is, just hurt. I tried it several times, making sure I was sufficiently warmed and lubed up. The only way it even remotely worked for me was, once it was inserted, to just thrust it very slightly, making sure not to pull it past my pubic bone. Unfortunately this didn't do much for me and I finally gave up.

Otherwise, as I stated before, if you like this type of more pronounced texture, you will probably love this dildo. It is well made and pretty neat looking. And what's not to love with silicone?

Silicone toys are very easy to care for. Just wash with soap and water when you're done. And if you need to, or want to, sterilize it just throw it in the top shelf of your dishwasher, or boil it for 3 minutes.

One drawback with silicone is that you must not use silicone lubricants with them. Somehow the two don't mix and it ends up ruining your toy. Water-based lubes are best with silicone toys.

The Kayden's Frosted Ice dildo can be warmed or cooled for temperature play by running it under hot or cold water in the faucet. The packaging states that it can be microwaved or frozen for these purposes. But personally I would not do either one of those. I prefer to stick with the faucet water. The microwave or freezer just seem to extreme with the possibility of someone getting hurt.

And of course, silicone dildos are waterproof. So you can use them in the tub or shower.

Finally, though this review may not be glowing, once again I do want to state that this dildo may be perfect for some people. It just wasn't right for me.
