Kama diva nubby vibe - traditional vibrator by Don Wands - review by Ansley Agnello

Before receiving this review assignment, I'd never heard of Don Wands or Kama Diva. I also, more importantly, had never heard of adult toys made out of urethane. Doing what any sensible person would have done, I typed 'urethane' into Wikipedia and was pretty surprised by my results. "Urethanes are used in housing, construction and auto manufacturing. Urethane is also the product on the outside of skateboard wheels. It is what gives you a smoother ride." Wait, what?! My vibrator would be made out of something that gives skateboard wheels a smoother ride? Weird.

Then, the box arrived on my front porch one afternoon. I was intrigued, yet somewhat frightened. My Kama Diva Nubby Vibe was accompanied by a new dildo, Maverick. I peered into the depths of a USPS box at them both, pulled out the bubble wrap and packing list, and emptied the rest of the contents onto my bed beside me. My initial reactions were something like, "Damn, this dildo is HUGE," and "So is this vibrator!"

A plush, soft pink drawstring bag and a sample packet of Wet Platinum Body Glide were included with the Kama Diva Nubby Vibe. The bag looked kind of ridiculous, but at least it was protective unlike some other drawstring bags I'd received to protect my precious toys in the past. Also, two AA batteries were included, and required for use.

After inserting the batteries, I played with the functions, testing each one. They were standard, not unlike any other vibe. I had already warmed up a bit with my fingers and then the Maverick, before deciding it was time to give the Nubby Vibe a go. I revved it up, and directed the tip of it onto my clit. I experimented with the nubs by sliding them one-by-one over my clit, as well. This produced a great feeling. I wouldn't recommend this one for insertion, though, because it is rather large and the nubs are somewhat painful going in and coming back out. But, if you have your heart set on it, then by all means.. insert away! Everyone is different. Despite my qualms with insertion, I am still glad to have added this vibe to my collection, if only for the sake of my clit. I would recommend the Nubby Vibe to anyone interested in a high quality, traditional vibrator.
