This was the first toy I ever owned. It was purchased as a gift for my birthday several years ago, and it is still my go-to toy. It is the perfect shape and size for even a beginner. I personally love the adjustable speed of the vibration, although I was initially completely turned off by it. However, now with a little experience, it is frequently used at the highest speed. I also use it specifically for the vibration on my nipples and clit, and occasionally around my anus. This toy doesn't get used for strictly masturbation purposes very often, so most of my experience with it is in foreplay and during sex.

It is VERY loud in my opinion. That isn't really a problem for us, but if you're concerned about the noise level, then I would suggest looking for something that is quieter. I also don't like the location of the dial to turn it on and adjust the vibe speed. For some reason it gets adjusted when it doesn't need to be. (Maybe we should just hold it differently?)I do like that it's blue. I really have no idea why, but "flesh" colored toys are a serious turn-off for me. Maybe it feels like it's trying to replace something real as opposed to being an accessory (which is what it is for us).

Now that I have more experience in the toy department, it does seem fairly small. I really think I would like a toy larger in diameter. We frequently use this toy AND my husband's fingers to achieve an orgasm. But maybe that's just me.

I can say the battery life seems to be excellent and it's easily cleaned. It does taste slightly odd to me if you insert it orally before it's cleaned a few times.

Overall, I really love this product and I know it will be used (still frequently) for a while!
