The Lady Finger Softee is a spin off version of the original Ladyfinger. Many of you who have read the reviews will remember that the vibes on the toy were weak and often didn't do the trick. The vibes on the Lady Finger Softee are strong but rough making for an interesting type of experience. Used both on the clitoris and the nipples the toy can be taken into the bedroom for gentle foreplay fun or alone time. There is a catch however; unless you are very easy to get off, this won't do the trick. Don't stop reading yet, I discovered a trick. After using for a few minutes, the clitoris becomes extremely sensitive to finger play. Ladies, if you are like me and sometimes have a hard time getting completely aroused, this can be of service. Use right before sex or masturbation to heighten sensation. You may not find the same effect with other clit vibes as many have a numbing effect. While this may not be a cure all toy that can definitely get you off, it can spice up the night which is helpful sometimes. Also, two pronounced lips of the Softee grab onto the nipples and create a slight sucking sensation. I found this to feel deliciously like a pair of lips exploring my breasts.

The Lady Finger Softee is constructed out of extremely soft, squishy TPR which is hypoallergenic, phthalates free, food grade material that is also latex free. Ladies, if you have sensitive skin this is for you. I myself hardly react to toys so I can't tell you if this will irritate your skin but it's a good choice because there is nothing in it to cause you harm.

The smooth TPR material covers the original hard Lady Finger design. Unlike most bullets which are hard, the TPR on this vibe gives a squishy soft cushion which just begs to be touched. I just can't get over squeezing it.

The bullet itself smells like incense which is a little different. I've had a lot of toys arrive smelling fruity but never of incense. Even so, the scent is light and pleasant. Unfortunately, the vibe does have a slightly bitter taste, so this is not something you're going to want to put in your mouth.

Finally, my toy arrived with a hollow area in the TPR that is currently half an inch long. As of yet, I don't know if this defect will lead to tearing but I'll update you in the follow up.

Here is where we really get into something different. I have never seen a vibe which came complete with an area to hug the clitoris. The Lady Finger Line appears to be one of the only bullets on the market which do this. A hard plastic three and a half inch bullet sports a two and a half inch clit hugger which nestles the clit and stimulates all sides. The hugger, as I like to call it, is an inch wide and about a half inch tall. The cord measures 35 inches and is removable from the battery pack. If you have other Doc Johnson toys which plug into their generic control unit you'll have an extra. Also, you don't have to worry about the toy accidentally turning on during travel as it can be separated from the bullet. When the unit is turned on without the bullet it is silent.

The Lady Finger Softee is available in one color, bubble gum pink which is extremely feminine and pretty. The control pack is hot pink which adds personality to the toy. Finally, because this toy is in no way lifelike and can be removed from the control pack it is discreet. It's small size makes it easy to hide and travel with. No worries here.

So, how are the vibes strong, rough, but not that stimulating you may ask? Good question. The vibes are extremely rough. If I lay the bullet on my table and turn it on it bounces up and down! Even so, the vibes are not that fast meaning that stimulation is not that strong. It seems that when it comes to the clit, smooth fast vibes are stronger whereas rough strong vibes are weaker. You wouldn't expect it to be that way, but for some reason it just is, or at least it is with this toy. Now, the toy has three speeds: low, medium and high. Low is strong enough to cause the vibe to rock and roll on the table but not provide much stimulation. Medium is just a little faster and high is strong enough to provide stimulation and literally crawl on the table if placed there. So, no the toy does not provide a lot of stimulation, but yes it does provide a lot of laughs on the table.

The control unit is a simple, flimsy, plastic case with an extremely sensitive turn dial.Turn up for on and to increase the speed and down to decrease the speed and for off. The unit is not waterproof. The toy is pretty quiet. It can be heard from under the covers but not from behind a closed door so if you share a house with others, it should be safe to use.

Always disconnect the bullet from the battery pack before washing it. If you so desire, you can run the bullet under running water but do not turn it upside down. The connection from the bullet to the cord is not closed and water could cause the toy to short out. I wash mine down with toy cleaner which I believe is safer for toys which are not waterproof. Also, TPR is porous so if you intend to share cover it with a condom. Finally, store in a dry, dark place away from other TPR and jelly toys. I know that TPR and jelly toys are not supposed to melt one another but I've had it happen more than once. Finally, the toy is compatible with both silicone and water based lubes.

The Lady Finger arrives in a pretty, blue, transparent plastic box with what else, drawings of fingers. Doc Johnson highlights that the toy is multi-speed and comfortable which is important for women who find a lot of toys uncomfortable. Inside is a pamphlet describing battery installation. Simply press and slide on the back of the unit to open, insert two AA batteries, and close. Then, connect the bullet and you're good to go. The box itself is small and could be easily wrapped for a gift. Because it is flimsy however, it would not stand up long being used for storage.

I really had high hopes for this toy. You all know that I always try to turn lemons into lemonade. I was afraid I wouldn't be able to do that with this toy.
