Sweet Obsession Cherish is a small clitoral vibrating wand. Designed for vaginal use, Cherish is best used for solo masturbation and external teasing/stimulation of erotic areas, such as clitoris, vulva, labia, nipples, and perineum. While about 2 1/2" of the toy may be inserted, the handle gets very slippery and unmanageable after just a short time of use. I found it difficult to even do my clit and dip routine with this one. This toy is not at all recommended for anal use. Too tiny and slippery, plus no flared base.

The main feature of stimulation in this toy (besides vibration) is the small circle of silicone ticklers, located on the head, which feel brush like and slightly abrasive against the skin while vibration is turned on. I have never brushed my vagina to climax before, but Eden is providing me with a plethora of new and different vaginal experiences of late. I would imagine that using an electric toothbrush on myself would feel similar to using Cherish, but with the benefit of a longer handle and longer ticklers. Of course Cherish does have a better variety of vibrations, but I do not think they are any stronger.

The design of Cherish is made specifically for clitoral stimulation. The handle is straight, while the head is curved in such a way that the ticklers may lay flat against the clitoris for direct contact. Very convenient, simple, and to the point.


For the most part Cherish is made of hard non-porous ABS plastic and is sleek and smooth. The small patch of ticklers are made of soft silicone. Relatively good, body safe materials that are phthalate and latex free, as well as hypo-allergenic and of food grade quality. There are no funky tastes or smells with Cherish.


Cleaning Cherish is pretty easy once you realize that you will need a small brush to clean between the silicone ticklers. The ticklers are very dense and brush like with little room between them. I clean my hair brushes in this same manner, using brush against brush to dislodge all debris between each bristle. The body of Cherish is very easy to clean with warm water and anti-bacterial soap or a wipe down with isopropyl alcohol. Cherish is completely waterproof and passed the test with flying colors, so don't be afraid to really soap down those bristles while scrubbing.


Plastic is compatible with all lubricants, but since the ticklers of made of silicone, it is advised that you use a water based lube with this product.


Cherish is rechargeable, and that is pretty cool. However, you must build your own charger; which I found kinda crazy. The idea behind this; is that during travel it will take up less room if you disassemble the charging unit. In my opinion it is best to keep it assembled once you have put it together. It takes up the same amount of room either way. While assembling the charger is not rocket science, it would be a chore and a nuisance to put this thing together before each use.

To assemble charger-

There are 3 pieces to the charger. 1. Plug adapter, of which the USA version is included, the directions vaguely hint that overseas versions may be available. 2. The traveling charger. 3. The battery plate.
First of all slide the plug adapter onto the traveling charger by aligning it onto the smallest track available on charger and pushing it down securely. Then on the other side of charger, simply place the battery plate onto the larger track 3/4 of the way and then slide the plate upward. You will hear a click ensuring that it is locked in. To remove these components there are little push buttons nearby that will unlock the pieces from each other.

Now you are ready to insert your battery to be charged. There is a double unit made to charge 2 batteries, however only 1 is included. Cherish uses 1 3v lithium battery. There are small movable tabs on the bottoms of where you insert your battery for charging. Slide the battery in pushing the tab down as you insert, this will securely hold your battery in place.

Now you are ready to charge. Plug into outlet. There is a small light on the side of charger that is supposed to flash red if battery is not charged and green if battery is fully charged, however this light is of little use, as it flashes randomly whether battery is charged or not. As a result It would be best to keep up with the time of charging yourself with a clock. Instructions indicate a time period of 4 1/2 hours is needed to run the Cherish on high for 1 hour on low 1 hour 20 minutes.

Once your battery is charged, unscrew Cherish at the portion where there is a silver ring, 2 3/4" down the shaft. Insert battery and rescrew the two pieces back together tightly.
You are now ready to use your toy.

Pressing more than 10 times will restart levels at 1 working down the levels again. Levels 4 and 10 are identical. Vibrations are quite buzzy. I usually put the vrooms and bees beside each level, but in this case, while the sensations of each variation of rhythm are different, the vrooms and bees are much the same on each level. Being 3 vrooms and 2 bees.
Overall, most vibration is felt in the head, but there is quite a bit of vibration in the handle also. Enough that after a while my hand became numb.


The function buttons, which are located 3 1/2" down the shaft, consist of an on/off button and a function button below that. They would have been more convenient if they had been located on opposite side of the shaft that the ticklers were located on. That way you could have the ticklers on your clit, and be able to switch functions at the same time with ease. As it is you must feel for the buttons underneath, sometimes hitting the on/off button by mistake.
While the box states there is a memory chip in Cherish, I saw no evidence of this, and it is not mentioned at all in the instructions provided inside box.

Cherish is travel friendly. In fact that is one of its selling points.

However, I found the traveling safety precautions portion of instructions to be somewhat scary and disturbing. Evidently the lithium battery can be quite lethal if left in temperatures above 60 degrees C or 140 degrees F. Such as in a closed up car on a hot day. It will explode.
Do not put any type or model of battery except for 3v RCR123A as provided into charger or it will explode.

Due to possible interference to an aircrafts navigation system and communications network, it is illegal to use the vibration functions while boarding or landing of the plane. It states that if you want to use the vibrator during flight to be sure to turn it off before boarding and after landing. Does this make sense to you?

Do not use this product at gas stations, fuel depots or chemical plants as possible sparks in these places could result in severe burning of flesh or even death.
Do not use this product in explosive atmospheres, below deck on boats, or in air which contains chemicals or particles such as grain, dust, or metal powders.

While Sweet Obsession Cherish is not a regular go to toy for me, I do enjoy it more now than when I reviewed it. I leave the charger together for convenience and do not travel with it; so there is no real danger in using it.
