Couture, But Not Liberating

Despite some small flaws, the Liberte isn't shabby. It's not the best, but it's not the absolute worst; it's just average.
Published:
Pros
Realistic texture, stylish, waterproof.
Cons
Inconvenient to turn off, a little loud, not powerful enough.

Use

The Liberte is a nice vibrator that can be used vaginally or on other erogenous zones. Due to it not having a flared base, this should not be used anally as it could easily get lost. It's a bit weak for more those who like more intense vibrations but for those who like just a little buzz, this is good.

Material / Texture

Out of the package, the Liberte had a mild rubbery odor as most fresh out-of-the-box silicone objects do. Eventually, the smell faded off. This product has a nice smooth almost-skin-like texture, save for the extra friction, with a flesh like-consistency. The texture of this is perfect for anyone as it does mirror the human body pretty well.

Design / Shape / Size

Advertised as a discreet vibrator, this isn't very discreet. Even from afar, it is easy to tell exactly what it is. At a length of 6.25" and a girth of 1.25", this is a pretty averaged sized toy, although the girth could be a bit bigger.

I do like the lilac color as well as the minimalistic design; this product is very chic.
It has a nice squishy feel to it that is pretty realistic in size and consistency. The curve is designed to stimulate the G-spot, however, it is a little small and doesn't hit well.

Functions / Performance / Controls

This vibrator has seven different vibration patterns. The first three are steady vibrations that progressively increase in frequency: the first two are too weak for my liking but the third is decently strong. The other patterns are (in order): a solid vibration that progressively escalates from the intensity of the first's to the third's, a weak and a strong pulse, and the last a steady pulse followed by a steady vibration.

It has one button that acts as a power switch, as well as a control panel so that you have to cycle through all the patterns to turn it off. When turning it off, keep track of what setting it's on or click through slowly as it is really easy to accidentally skip the off setting and it will turn on again.

This also features a small curve that is designed to reach your G-spot, but as I pointed out, it's small. As advertised, this toy is waterproof and has a little rubber O-ring that protects it from water leaking in. I feel, however, that water does take away some little resistance and makes the vibrations less strong, but that's just basic physics.

Care and Maintenance

As it is made of silicone, it is nonporous and cleans pretty easily. It is compatible with water-based lubes. However, a downside is that because of the material, it has to be kept away from other toys made of silicone in order to keep them from potentially deforming. I also store this away from extreme heat as that can cause deformities, as well as damage the battery. It can attract lint due to its texture, so I also try to keep it in an area that is free of small particles.

Packaging

This came in a not-so-discreet box that features a dildo. The package is slightly large for the toy and has nothing to keep the vibrator from knocking about. The vibrator does have a Styrofoam-like bag to keep it from getting damaged during transport. What I did not like, is that it doesn't come with an instruction manual and I had no idea how to turn it off or how to adjust the settings; I found out how to do these processes through trial and error.

Experience

After the product arrived in the mail, I couldn't wait to test it out. The first thing I did was see what functions it had. As stated before, the first two are too weak and the third is fairly average. The escalating vibrational intensity setting has a slight feel of suspense to it when it suddenly changes from intense to weak. The pulsating ones give me a very interesting sensation, but it isn't too strong either. The last is a combination of the first two, which gives a slight sense of rhythm that I find very enjoyable. For me the G-spot curve didn't really reach much but if I turn it around, it does provide a nice rectal sensation without the need for anal penetration. Overall, I feel this is pretty average.

One of the things that bothers me is the noise that comes out of it. I have used this in the shower and it is louder than the shower. I'm sure through closed doors it would be fainter, but I am very surprised how loud it is.
Follow-up commentary
After using it for a while, I noticed that this toy looked a bit like a really long tongue which gave me the idea to try it out for clitoral simulation.

Although this product's vibrations aren't strong enough vaginally, they were relatively nice on the clitoris. Although this product's size does make it a bit hard to reach it, when it does it is very pleasing.

Although I still don't like it very much, it's not as bad as I first thought it to be during my first few test runs.
