I picked up this toy on a whim with its partner, Kisses. I must say I was pleasantly surprised. It has 3 speeds you cycle through using the heart-shaped button at the bottom. The toy has a velvety smooth finish and is safe with most lubes (I use water-based for easy cleanup) and the toy is waterproof for easy cleanup with anti-bacterial soap and water. It does not get sticky or attract lint; major plus. The toy doesn't have a distinct smell like some toys I have had in the past, which is good. The length is a nice five inches which is perfect for me. Much longer and it bangs my cervix in vaginal play.

I occasionally use it for vaginal play, but the Hugs vibrator really shows its curves for anal play. The curvy shaft is felt a lot more during this type of play. The smooth surface also feels very nice against erogenous zones. For anal play you should note that this toy does not have a flared base so be careful with it. A note on couples play: This toy is not ideal for double penetration with a partner's penis or other toy. This vibrator is too hard and does not give like silicone or jelly toys.

During vaginal play the curves play with the curves of my body. The inward curve kind of sits on my pubic bone if I have the tip on my clit. What is nice here about the control button is that if you press the button halfway down, it does not change the speed but rather it temporarily stops the vibrations so you can create your own pulse pattern.

The vibrations are moderately intense and I am really sensitive so it is perfect. The toy is moderately quiet. I like to use it under the covers, though, for maximum soundproofing. I would not want to use this toy in close quarters because it is definitely audible, so do not use this in a dorm setting.

A surprising note about this toy is the battery life. I have had this toy for quite awhile and rarely do I have to change the batteries or notice a decline in vibration power. Overall I was glad I made the impulse buy on this toy and her sister (which I will also review). I have had this toy for well over a year and have not had a problem with it breaking in any way.
