The Hugs vibe is one of my favorites. It's long lasting, smooth and strong. It works wonderfully for clitoral stimulation, and the rounded head and tapered neck feel amazing for penetration. On the lower vibration settings, you can tease other areas of your body, and the velvet cote material feels smooth against your skin as you tease and please. With my experience, it's always good for multiple orgasms. Due to its simple function and tame size, this would be good for a beginner.

You can use it alone or with a partner. It would pair up well with a standard dildo, if you needed more for penetration. You can work your clitoris with this, while your partner penetrates your vagina, use this with a g-spot vibe, or even use it with a partner for double penetration. If you're feeling particularly kinky, you could let your partner have their way with you while you're blindfolded. My favorite!

Hugs is made of velvet cote material, which is surprisingly smooth and velvety to the touch. There was a light odor when I first took it out of the box, but it wasn't very noticeable and disappeared after cleaning/using it for the first time.

The texture doesn't add any stimulation, but feels nice against the skin. Lubed or not, it will glide against your skin easily.

The material is nonporous, making it very safe to use and very easy to clean.

While shopping for my first vibrator, I was easily intimidated by all the options. Was this too big, what does this do? I chose to keep it simple, and I don't regret that decision one bit. While the simple design lacks all the bells and whistles other toys may have, this gets the job done very nicely.

The vibrations from this toy come from the rounded tip, which has 3 simple functions: low, medium, and high. All three settings are pretty quiet, even though the vibrations themselves pack a punch. For me, the low is good for an initial tease, and medium is more than enough to get me off a few times. I don't use the high setting that often, but it's strong without being overwhelming.

The controls are simple: just press the little heart button to give yourself some love. The button is located right on the bottom of the vibrator, making it very easy to control even if you use it vaginally.

It is perfectly waterproof, and the material doesn't get too slippery when it’s wet.

I use it more or less every day and the batteries still lasted a good 3 months or so before I needed to change them.

This vibe is very easy to take care of. While you can't boil it to sterilize, you can easily clean it with a bit of soap and warm water. Just pat it dry and you are good to go! Isopropyl alcohol can also be used to clean it off. I recommend using silicone or water based lubricants with this toy.

Due to its small size and simple shape, storage isn't a problem either. You can use the box it came in if you wish. I either keep it in a 'Hide Your Vibe' zipper pillow, or wrapped in a cloth hidden in a dresser drawer.

The toy comes packaged in a plastic box with some helpful instructions if you need them.
