Review of My secret - Vibrator

This was my first vibrator. I bought it a little over a year ago after one of those sex toy parties--you know, the ones where a woman comes and tries to sell a room full of women toys? Yes, just like that. I didn't buy anything at the party (too embarrassed, I'll admit), but I did come home and find Eden Fantasys to order this almost instantly.

Now, I will admit that it is definitely a Beginner vibrator. If you're used to orgasms from a Rabbit or Hitachi Massager, this little thing will not do it for you. But up until this point, it had just been me, myself, and I. I was happy to add in a new friend.

I use it solo for clitoral and nipple stimulation, but it would also probably work for couples looking for a little bit more "umph" in bed.

The My Secret is made of plastic, but it doesn't feel like it. It has a smooth, round shape that is definitely a plus in terms of how you can maneuver it. I love the way it just seems to glide along the skin. The smoothness of it makes it so easy to use, and the fact that there are no buttons or knobs on it to make it lumpy are definitely a perk. Sometimes with small vibrators, you have the controls and all that jazz, but this one doesn't need those sorts of controls. It's fine just the way it is.

The My Secret is tiny. I could almost close it within my hand and make it disappear. When I opened it, I thought to myself "This thing can't possibly work well." I was then pleasantly surprised.

I will sing the praises of its shape and the feel of the plastic from the rafters--it is excellent. I'll reiterate that the size, vibrations, and design pretty much make this the perfect purchase for a beginner, but that doesn't mean that you shouldn't count it out if you're a little more advanced in terms of vibrators.

When you put the batteries in, you just have to screw the bottom on tightly to make it start vibrating. There are no switches or buttons on it, which is nice, but that also means that there is only one vibration pattern. I think that this is nice in such a compact and discreet little toy, but it might be a bit of a turn off to those who are more experienced.

I have had it for over a year and never had to change the battery. This is with semi-regular use (once or twice a week, for about 20 minutes) and a standard AA battery. When I first got it, I thought for sure that it'd be a battery guzzler, but again, I'm pleasantly surprised by the longevity of the battery life.

In terms of the sound of the vibration, I'd say it sounds like a cell phone vibrating. I say this because I store it between the mattress and box spring of my bed, and one night it must've turned itself on (because it turns on by just turning the base), and I looked around for my phone for five minutes wondering who would be calling me at 2 AM. I wouldn't recommend using it in a dorm room with a roommate five feet away, but it definitely won't be heard through bedroom doors or walls.

The My Secret is waterproof, making it very easy to clean. Because it's just plastic, soap and water do the trick when it is time to clean it up. It is also easy to store. It comes with a small velvety bag, which has a drawstring top. After I clean it, I dry it, bag it, and tuck it safely between my mattresses until next time.
