I use the Butterfly Frenzy mostly for clitoral stimulation. I just use the insertable end, and the strong vibrations drive me crazy.

Every so often, I am told to put the bullet inside me, leave the butterfly outside, with the antennae tickling my clit, and hide the controller in my pocket. As long as you keep the vibrations on the lower end of the spectrum, no one will be the wiser.

The Extreme Butterfly Frenzy Bullet is made of TPR. When I opened it, I noticed a funny smell, and it still retains some odor even after washing and plenty of use. It is smooth, rubbery and very flexible. I did find when I first got it, it was slightly sticky, but that has worn off after a few uses.

There is no texture that really matters, unless you are rubbing the butterfly against yourself. The TPR is so soft though, that I have not noticed much of a difference in texture during use. The softness of the TPR is great, because the butterfly's antennae are very soft and don't feel like whips against my clitoris.

TPR is porous, and the shape really doesn't fit inside a condom well, so this toy should not be shared between partners or orifices.

I liked the design very much. The Butterfly Frenzy is a cheap, effective alternative to a rabbit. I found that the insertable section was surprisingly large. It was difficult to get the butterfly's antennae where I wanted them. After a few tries, I eventually figured it out, but I am concerned that this may not work for all bodies. I have read on other reviews that people had trouble with it popping out, but I have had no problem with that.

When wrapped up with its cord, I found that it can be easily slipped into a purse or bag. I have no trouble hiding and storing it. I just keep it in a plastic bag to keep the lint away from it.

The vibrations come from two bullets; one inside the large bullet section, and a smaller one inside the butterfly itself. The vibrations are very deep and rumbly. There are no patterns, just straight vibrations. The vibrations travel to the antennae nicely, and make them flick at a high rate. This toy is quite noisy when turned to high, but its lower settings are very quiet - especially when muffled inside your body and under pants.

There are two buttons, one for up, and one for down, and five vibration settings to play with. The control buttons are easy to use, but I find they are a bit small and it is easy to accidentally press the wrong one in the heat of the moment. The lights are a nice touch, because it is easier to tell what setting you are on. I haven't had to change the batteries that often, actually, and I am surprised at the amount of power that comes out of three AAA batteries.

I find that this toy picks up every scrap of dust in the house, so I make sure to wash it before and after use.

Keep in mind that the controller is not waterproof, and I have my doubts about the area where the cord attaches to the butterfly. There is a hole where the cord attaches, and I know it is not watertight. So be very careful if you rinse it under water. I just use toy wipes, because I am afraid of drowning it. TPR is compatible with both silicone and water based lubricants, so go wild.
