Water-based lubricant for women

Feels Like the Real Thing

We think this is a wonderful lube for all types for anything to do with a vagina. Whether for masturbation, oral sex, or penis/dildo stimulation, it works great. A definite keeper for us.

Pros
Very close to natural lubrication.
Safe ingredients.
Cons
Not good for anal but it was never intended to be used there.

extremely useful review
I think we will eventually review all the JO lubes possible, but this is number seven for us. This one we are going to be reordered for sure. I did not understand the name. Most of the JO lubes make sense of what they are in their titles. (H20, coconut, jelly, etc.) What is agape? I am thinking kinky, and this lube somehow lets you "gape" your vagina or anus. Nope. It is AGAPÉ and is pronounced Ay-gah-pay. It is a Greco-Christian term referring to love, "the highest form of love, charity" and "the love of God for man and of man for God"...as it embraces a universal, unconditional love that transcends and persists regardless of circumstance. (Wikipedia) Well, I don't know if this lube does all that, but it is the closest lube we have used that mimics natural female lubrication. It is glycerin, paraben, and propylene glycol free. If you are sensitive to those ingredients, this is a good choice for you. It doesn't taste bad and has some citric acid in it, and that can cause some people irritation. This lube has a ph of 5.5, which falls in the normal ph range for a vagina. So it shouldn't throw off you ph and cause problems. It also tastes kind of tangy, not unlike what a vagina tastes like, so that is interesting. It is not the best for anal since it is thin, so we are going to use it for vaginal stimulation/sex only.
Follow-up commentary
We still use this lube and still like it. It is our PIV go-to lube for the time being and probably be so going forward.

    Thanks for the review!

Are you sure that normal vaginal PH is 5.5? I've believed the normal PH is 4.0-4.5.

Ok I googled the ph and a female body increases the ph during sex to accommodate the sperm and semen and make a more hospitable environment. Semen’s ph is 7-8 so by increasing the vagina’s ph it make it a more hospitable for the sperm. So maybe that is why they made the ph 5.5 but you are correct about 4.5 being the normal ph.
