Caressing G 8-function sweetheart vibe - g-spot vibrator discontinued by Cal Exotics - review by Southern Lady

This is a very cute pink vibrator that is well-suited for a beginner. Its vibrations are extremely mild, and would not intimidate someone new to vibrators. This Caressing G is waterproof and can be taken to the tub or shower. For those who enjoy sensory play, this provides nice sensations on the sensitive areas of the body such as the nipples, clit, back of neck etc. Put on a blindfold---it and can be quite pleasurable with the variety of functions of this vibe. This also might work for couples looking for light foreplay only. It has a gently curved tip that can tickle and tease the clit. The shaft has slightly raised nubs for texture when thrusting the G, but I hardly noticed they existed, but I like intense texture. This vibe has its place, just not in my drawer. I wasn't as impressed with the multi-function as I had hoped, and actually found they were a little annoying. They seemed to be just variations of a buzzing bee, only slightly stronger than a cell phone on vibrate. As a Caressing G vibrator, this one did not ignite any sparks for me, and this was NOT my Sweetheart!

The Caressing G is made of TPR, one of the safer materials. The shaft is smooth and flexible with a slightly rubbery feel to it. It has a slight odor, but it didn't bother me. There are nubs on the shaft to provide extra stimulation, but will do nothing for texture lovers. The Caressing G is smooth, and has a slight seam in the sides that is hardly noticeable.

The Caressing G Sweetheart has a comfortable slick handle, and a curved tip at the end of the shaft. The tip is designed to caress the G spot, but is more suitable to tickle the clit. There is a hole in the end of the handle, that you could put a string through and hang it in your shower, ready at all times. The medium size is comfortable for a beginner, and suitable for the average user, unless you prefer a lot of girth. Hiding this sweetheart is easy, as it fits easily into a dresser drawer, and can slip easily into a suitcase for travel. The package claims that it is quiet, powerful, waterproof, and has an instant on/off button. The Caressing G vibe performed as claimed, in all but power, which is seriously lacking. This vibe really is very cute, so I was really disappointed that it was so weak.

The Caressing G has two control buttons located at the base on the handle. They are very easy to maneuver as the top one is on/off, and the bottom one is used to press through the variety of functions. There are 8 to choose from, and they range from what reminds me of a plane at take off at various speeds, and various speeds of pulsation. They felt buzzy to me, and I was disappointed that there wasn't the option of a continuous vibration. It only requires 2 AA batteries, where the tip of the base screws off, and they are both inserted face down into the canal. The vibrator would also have been better designed if there were a button that you could adjust the power of the vibrations with.

This is an easy toy to care for! Because it is waterproof, you do not have to exercise great care when you have it under water. It is made of TPR/Plastic, which means you can wash it with antibacterial soap, or wipe it down with alcohol. It is suitable to place in your drawer next to your other toys without worry of the chemical breakdown if it touches another toy. It is phthalate and latex free, making this a safer material for vaginal insertion. You can use a silicone or water lubricant with this toy.

The packaging was simple, yet adequate to protect the toy in transit. It arrived in a blister wrap plastic container that easily pulled apart, without me having to search for a pair of scissors to open it. The vibe looked so pretty sitting against the insert with pictures of floating hearts. Not discreet, by any means, but attractive. There was a small instruction sheet with directions for battery insertion. It did mention the importance of fresh batteries for the quality of performance of this vibe, and suggests removing the batteries when not in use for longer battery life. So far, I have kept the vibrator stored in its original package in my drawer.

This is my first experience with a multi function vibrator. As a person who likes a range of intensity in my stimulation, I believe an added button that provided various levels of stimulation would have better suited my needs. I also believe that as one of the functions, a straight vibration would have been an asset. With these enhancements, this would make one awesome Caressing G 8 Function Sweetheart Vibrator! While this is NOT my G spot Sweetheart, I will still keep it on hand for those times when Hubby and I want some sensory play; I love surprises and this one can keep me guessing.
