Vibrating clitoral cup

Good for warm up play

This toy is a good warm-up toy for me. It's also waterproof and would be very travel-friendly. It's unique from most toys, and once you figure out how to work it with your body, it's a fun toy.

First impression

This arrived in the mail in a discreet brown box. Inside, Capella was in a very nice long black box. It was wrapped in clear plastic and had a cover over the box. Once I pulled the cover off and opened it, Capella was inside, along with a see-through black storage bag and the USB charger. I picked up Capella and loved the super-smooth silicone feel. The little nub ticklers on the inside felt extremely nice and flexible. I also noticed the little hole for the suction. Capella fit really nice in my hands, and I was super excited to try it out.

First Use

So I plugged Capella in to charge and went and got some stuff done. I'm guessing it took anywhere between 30-60 minutes to charge. When I first plugged it in, it lit up red, and once it was finished charging, the light turned off. So I pulled it off the charger and held in the bottom button for 3 seconds to turn it on; it'll also turn off the same way. Once it's on, you'll just quickly click the button to go through the 7 vibration patterns. I then held in the middle button for 3 seconds which turned on the suction. It seemed to suck in air from the hole on the other side, and I pressed it against my hand and felt it attach to it. It seemed there were a few different suction modes also. At first, I didn't know what the top button was for, but I think it's for the self-clean function. It only works when the toy is off, and you have to hold it in the whole time. It just sucks air through the hole.

The bottom is power and vibrations, the middle is for the suction, and the top is for cleaning (or so I'm assuming)

The top hole is for airflow and the bottom is the charging port

So before using this, I washed it with some soap and water. I then went and got comfortable in bed. I turned on the vibrations first and put this over my vulva to see how it felt. The vibrations felt decent, and the ticklers also felt nice. I then turned on the suction part and went through a few until I could figure out what I liked. I noticed my finger kept covering up the hole on the outside, and I feel like that was causing issues with how it would suction. I also noticed I had to hold this over my vulva a certain way to make it suction. I don't think all the patterns are meant to keep it suctioned but just to feel the sensation of it, or so that's how it worked my first time with me. So I was a little stumped my first use and gave up rather quickly due to being very aroused, and I grabbed another toy to get the job done. So, this toy just had me a bit confused my first use, and I planned on figuring it out next time.

Further Experience

So my next couple of times using this have all been solo. I tried again with this trying to get it to suction onto my vulva. It worked well on my hand on every single suction pattern, so I put it on my vulva and had it turned on. I could feel it slightly suction on once I adjusted it a few times. Personally, I took the Capella and just started rubbing it around my clit and vagina, which felt even better. The part that goes on the clit has a little bit of texture, and it felt really good as I was moving the toy around. I did get off that time.

I haven't tried using lubricant with this yet to see if it creates a better seal for it to suction, but I do plan on trying that out at some point. As of right now, I'm just using it for some teasing and warm-up play. The suction didn't do too much for me, but as I mentioned above, I will continue to try different things out and see if I can get it to work with my body. The suction works great on my hand, so I'm assuming it's just something I'm doing, or it doesn't work well with my body.

Capella is made of silicone. Silicone is rated a 10/10 on the safety scale. It's hypo-allergenic and non-porous, so it doesn't harbor any bacteria. It's also latex and phthalates-free. This is also waterproof, so you can enjoy it in the shower if you'd like. I personally enjoy the feature for easy cleaning. I use soap and water to clean it, and it also has the self-clean mode. The little ticklers can be a little hard to clean, but you can take a soft bristle toothbrush to it, and that helps. You can use toy cleaner if you prefer. Since this is silicone, only use water-based lubricant with this toy. The total length of this is 5". The circumference is 8" with a diameter of 1 3/4".

Size comparison

Vibration Map

The Capella has a pretty even vibration throughout the head. It felt about the same even around the edges of the toy. I think the ticklers may have just a slight bit more vibration, though. The handle also carries a lot of vibration too.
  • Very mild, low level vibration
  • Moderate vibration
  • Strong and easily felt vibration

Orgasm Intensity

I've only had 1 orgasm with this so far and have only used it a few times at the moment. The orgasm I did have was a good one, though.
Follow-up commentary
To be honest, I don't get much use out of this one anymore. It's stored away for now and not sure I'll be using it much in the future. Maybe sometime I'll change my mind again on this toy but it just isn't for me.
