This was the first toy I ever owned and is another toy that I used until I broke it. It's been around for years, and not surprisingly! At first it was a pretty difficult fit, because this is pretty advanced for a beginner. The vibrations are good for beginners, but I would advise working your way up to it. When my partner bought me this toy I was really excited about it. My partner was fairly large anyway so we figured this toy would be comparable to his size...it wasn't as close as we thought it would be. This thing is 9" long with an insertable length of 8", with a freaking 5 1/2 inch circumference! What the HELL were we THINKING?

For a while I just used the vibrations and the bumps on the toy for clitoral stimulation because trying to masturbate with it vaginally was just way too painful. Eventually, I worked up to it just trying it out whenever I had a moment or when I was with my partner. Once it was comfortable enough to use I used it all of the time. The bumps on the toy are really amazing once you get used to it but, since I was just starting out with sex toys I found them to be quite painful in the beginning and employed the use of condoms; the condoms make the bumps less harsh on less-experienced vaginas.

The best time to use this toy is either alone or with your partner, but I don't suggest ever using it for anal. Even for advanced users, I can't imagine that this toy would feel very nice up the butt.

Crystalessence is a really flexible material so using the bending function of the toy was pretty easy. There was no real smell to the toy at all other than a light rubber smell but nothing overpowering and it wore off after a while. The bumps on the toy made for remarkable clitoris stimulation while the vibration was on. I had to find that out pretty quickly since I couldn't use it vaginally for a while.

The bumps can be pretty intense for beginners so I would suggest using condoms to make the ride smoother, but I definitely wouldn't suggest getting this one for your first toy. Jesse would be far more suited for advanced users whom are familiar with the material and textured toys.

Once I got used to the toy, I started using the bending function. I really loved how it was really easy to bend and it felt REALLY awesome on my g-spot but the sounds it made were really scary. To be honest, it felt like someone was cracking their knuckles inside of my vagina anytime I tried to bend it while it was inside of me. Scary!

Aside from the scary sounds the vibe makes when trying to bend it, all of its functions worked as well as they were supposed to. The bending ability made g-spot rubbing perfect and the vibrations were subtle enough for a beginner such as myself. Overall, the design and all of the functions worked well for me and I'm glad that it had a dial base rather than a bunch of complicated buttons. The vibration speeds went from low, medium, to high and I found the high vibrations to be a little much for me, so I was happy with the medium and low vibrations.

For beginners this thing is MASSIVE. At 8" of insertable length and a 5 1/2" circumference, I would suggest that only advanced users take on this big boy. It is also not the easiest toy to hide as you can imagine by just the measurements.

As far as how discreet this thing is, it's really not so bad unless you're using the high vibration setting but don't try to hide it if you're bending it around. The bending noises are not only scary, but actually pretty loud. I was asked a few times by people walking by my room if I had dropped a bunch of big marbles on my floor while I was bending the toy.

The functions were easy to use. As I stated before, the vibrations are controlled by a dial base and aren't concentrated in one area but are felt throughout the length of the toy. A little grab and push backward or forward is all it takes to bend the toy into the position that you want it in but it's really better to bend it after insertion. The toy, while easy to bend doesn't like to stay in the position that you put it in if you bend it before using it vaginally, so you may have to just deal with the knuckle-cracking sensations if you're considering this toy.

The best part about this toy would actually have to be bending function. Even though the sounds are scary it still works wonders for the g-spot and will keep me coming back for toys like this one.

Since Jesse is made of crystalessence it's more like rubber than jelly and really easy to clean. A common misconception is that crystalessence is highly porous, but it's actually highly NON-porous! A quick rinse with water is all you have to do to make it like new. As with all products, if you're going to share tell your friends to use a condom just for safety purposes.

Crystalessence is compatible with all different kinds of lubes. Water based, silicone and oils are all compatible with this material.

As for storing, I would suggest getting this baby its very own box away from lint, dust, or any other loose particles because crystalessence attracts all of that.
