Internal sensations sex toy review

An okay toy for beginners looking for something less intimidating...but as a g-spot stimulator this toy fails to live up to its claims.
Design is non-threatening. Dial control is easy to use.
Provides minimal stimulation, not satisfactory for the g-spot

Despite being advertised as one the Internal Sensations vibrator|G-spot vibrators: Internal sensations by Doc Johnson is definitely not an effective g-spot vibrator|G-spot Vibrators. In fact the design of this toy is a little baffling—while the large base provides an easy grip the tiny head of the toy, while it does hold the focused vibrations of the motor, give no other stimulation. Internal Sensations can certainly be used externally for stimulating the clitoris, nipples, or just about any place where a small focused vibration is desired—but internally it does little.

The toy is designed as a flexible jelly wand that curves slightly as it tapers down to the small end. Internal Sensations is controlled by a simple dialing knob that allows the user to increase the vibrating speed. For what it is worth the vibrations are well focused in the tip of the toy (though not particularly strong) and are quiet—owing to the size of the motor itself more than anything else. The jelly material is smooth, with no ridges or bumps added for stimulation. While jelly is not as effective as silicone as a material it is relatively easy to keep cleaned—especially because of the smooth texture of the toy—and it comes in a variety of colors.

While the Internal Sensations vibrator is designed and marketed as a g-spot stimulator it does not meet it goals. For someone nervous about the size of other vibrators or looking for only moderate stimulation this might be a decent starting point—but for anyone looking for a strong g-spot stimulator or an intermediate or advanced vibrator this will be a serious disappointment. While the toy does provide some reasonable external stimulation there are other things better suited to stimulating the clitoris or nipples. The concept behind Internal Sensations—small, focused stimulation—is a good one, it is just that this toy does not pull it off.
Follow-up commentary
The internal sensations would be a perfectly good toy if it did provide any internal sensations, but we found that it was not only a relatively week buzz, but the all-too-flexible body of the toy meant that you could not direct the vibrations anywhere internally. The other issue with this toy, that is disappointing, is its limited vibration controls. While many toys with the twist style control offer a wide-range of low-to-high vibrations in the case of, at least, our toy it is more of an "on/off" switch than an actual power adjustment. This is one of those toys that, unfortunately, has just not worked for us and mostly spends its time collecting dust in the bottom of a drawer.

I agree with your review.  This toy is far too flexible to apply the necessary pressure to be an effective g-spot stimulator.
