The Harmony radiance g-spot vibrator can be used all over the body. It provides somewhat moderate sensations for clitoral stimulation. It lacks girth in my opinion for penetration, however my wife liked it when it was inserted deep into the vagina. This vibrator works really well on the p-spot and for anal play, we both were in total agreement on this. The lack of girth is one of the reasons I feel this is more of an anal toy. When I applied the tip to my wife's breasts she went crazy. This vibrator is best suited for an individual or couple seeking a decent g-spot vibrator, for people looking for a toy to massage the p-spot and anyone looking for anal stimulation and play.

The Harmony radiance has no smell or taste that could be detected. The Radiance has a non-porous and phthalate-free material with firm and smooth textures. The main reason for this is that the Radiance is constructed from plastic, so it's non-porous. One of the features that I noted in the construction is that there are no seam lines from molding. Use just a drop of lube or oil and watch as it slides right out of the palm of your hand. We have both noted that after an extended use your hand becomes slightly numb. This is a vibrator for a beginner or an average individual or couple. It lacks the luster and enthusiasm of an advanced user. Doc Johnson has marketed the Radiance in two colors: black and white.

The design of the Radiance is similar in design of the 'Tulip Wand" and the Carmen Electra "G-Spot Vibrator". The Radiance has a stamen (round) tip at the top of the vibrator. This tip in theory in meant for stimulation of the clit and g-spot. It worked good for mild clitoral stimulation and hitting her g-spot but it lacked power to push her over the edge. We found it worked great on the p-spot and anal stimulation. The Radiance is light weight and not awkward like other vibrators can be at times. The batteries are located in the base of this vibrator, right below the push button control. This Vibrator is a little over 8" in length, can be inserted up to about 6". Please use caution while inserting when this vibrator becomes wet it becomes very slippery, hard to keep a grip on and may be come lodged due to the lack of girth. This toy is travel friendly. You might get a odd smile from the luggage screener at the airport but hey, you made him smile. I don't carry a purse, however I don't think this is the vibrator that you want to carry if you use a small purse.

The Harmony Radiance requires two aaa batteries for operation. This model must be the hybrid model because we have used the Radiance over two dozen times and haven't changed the batteries once. There is a touch pad located near the base of the vibrator which controls the 4 speeds, click the pad upward to increase the intensity of the vibrations or click the pad down to decrease the vibrations or to turn it off. The touch pad can be operated with one finger or thumb with ease, even when there is lube on the pad. The vibration is more prominent at the tip however you can feel vibrations all the way down the shaft. This model is loud enough to hear thru a closed door, but not loud enough to disrupt anyone's life. The radiance is definitely water proof. We have had ours in the shower, tub and even in the pool. We didn't spend much time in the water after using this toy because we wanted to be more comfortable. The pool is probably not a great idea as the chlorine may eat thru the silicone touch pad and damage the vibrator. On the performance end of things, the radiance lacks something very crucial in the functions department. When you compare the Radiance to the Carmen Electra G-Spot vibrator the Radiance lacks the three setting of pulsation that the Carmen Electra model has, this model has four vibration speeds and three pulsations settings, where as the Radiance only has the four vibration settings. Both models are about the same price.

I know that I had mentioned that the Radiance is non-porous, which is great, you can wipe it down with a alcohol wipe or clean with hot water and a antibacterial soap. If there is one place to pay good attention to is the under the tip of this model, lube and fluids seems to be attracted to this area. This model is compatible with oils, lubes and water. We clean our toys after use, let them dry and place them in our toy drawer. I feel this toy is very low maintenance, just take a few seconds to clean it properly. If you plan on sharing this toy with friends you should cover it with a condom. Safe sex should include toys used not just your partners.

The packaging from Doc Johnson was very respectable, compared to the toy packaging found in most adult stores. I don't recall if directions were included with the Radiance, my thought was it was pretty self explanatory. We are not the type of people that put our toys back in the original packaging and I believe in recycling, however I had no intentions on placing a gift in the box, wrapping it and giving the present to a family member at Christmas. I did place the box in the recycling bin.

We honestly believe that The Radiance should be marketed as an anal toy or a p-spot vibrator. The reason why we purchaced the Radiance is we work the Carmen Electra G-Spot vibrator to death. It was a very big dissapointment to both of us, we were in the middle of using it when it died on us. We found the Doc Johnson Radiance and bought it trying to replace the vibrator we killed.

The pool was probably the best experience we had with the Radiance. We have made a happy home for it in our toy drawer and have found that our anal experience is why we are happy with it. As a g-spot vibrator we give it 1 star for lack of functions, the ability to have the intensity to push my wife over the edge. As a butt toy we give it 4 stars for the great times we had using it on each other. When averaging the stars out our final review is for 2.5 stars.
