The Romance vibrator is great for penetration, as it is 9" with an insertable length of 6 3/4". The vibrations are more noticeable in the tip of the Romance, making this a good g-spot toy. It can be used on other body parts, as well, if you like the vibrations. This toy is a bit big around, 4 3/4" circumference, but I feel would still be an okay size for beginners as well as the most advanced. The Romance could be used most anywhere, including the bathtub, as it is waterproof.

The romance is a non-porous silicone toy. The romance is very soft feeling, almost like velvet or something similar. The romance is bendable to a point; it will not stay in that position but lets you get it where it needs to go. I did not notice any smell with this product. There are 2 ridges in it, but other than that it is smooth. I think the ridges are a great enhancement to the toy. Again, as this toy is mostly smooth, it would work for beginners as well as others with more experience.

The shape of the romance is typically like your regular straight vibe. It is slightly bendable. The size is a bit big for a beginner but not too big that they should have trouble using it. This toy is fairly discreet; it will lay nicely under your pillow or in your nightstand drawer.

The vibrations in the romance are located in the tip of the toy. I like it okay, but a longer vibration mechanism or being located more centrally would have been nice, as well. The control is on the end of the toy. There are two slightly raised buttons: one is the power button, the other is the multi-speed function button. It takes some time to get used to the buttons when you first start with this toy, as they are on the hard side to push and, for me, just a bit out of arms reach. There is minimal noise with this toy; on the quietest of the settings, my husband could not hear it next to me in bed. On the loudest he could hear it at the end of our bed.

As this toy is waterproof, it can be cleaned with soap and water or water and your favorite toy cleaner. I keep my Romance rolled in a bandanna and placed in the toy tub under my bed. Being this is a silicone toy, it should be used with a water based lube.
