Form 3 - discreet vibrator by Jimmyjane - review by Airen Wolf

I knew the minute I saw the Form 3 what I was going to ask Eden Fantasys for when I hit that coveted 100 reviews mark! I'm not really sure what it was about the tiny little toy that I found so appealing but I knew I had to have it even if it meant forking over the cash for it. Since I have never spent this much on a toy, I had some very high hopes, and not a small amount of anxiety over whether it would live up to my expectations.

I am very happy to report that it not only lived up to my expectations, it blew them away!

Ok enough praise, let's get down to some brass tacks. This is a 100% medical grade silicone toy. It is rechargeable, totally waterproof (in fact the pamphlet from JimmyJane states it is 'bath friendly'! ~Happy dance~)

The charger is tiny, discreet and has JimmyJane written across it. I found the charger to be very user friendly and intuitive. After reading the enclosed pamphlet I learned that the toy has a tiny light that will illuminate when the toy is placed correctly in the charger. I had no trouble getting the light to turn on and stay on. It is not possible to overcharge this toy so it can sit on its charger when not in use. Amazing, no?

According to the pamphlet, "To get maximum battery life, charge the vibrator for 8 hours before first use. Form vibrators run up to 7 hours on a single charge depending on power level and vibration mode." The toy has a locking feature and also a feature to let you know that it IS locked. All of this is explained in the instruction pamphlet, which is easy to understand and very thorough.

This toy resembles a tongue in shape, with a flattened area of thin silicone that flexes easily with a fingertip. The edges around the flexible membrane are rolled and smooth. They carry the vibrations easily and can be used for stimulating the labia while your finger is stimulating your clitoris.

The Form 3 has a set of three buttons located near the base of the toy, in easy reach, that turn on the toy and control the intensity of vibration as well as the patterns. They are + , -, ~ in order. The plus button turns up the intensity, the minus button turns down the intensity and also turns off the toy. The ~ button turns on the patterns of vibration, of which there are four:

* First is an escalation type pattern
* Second is a faster escalation type pattern
* Third is a machine gun type pulse that is deep and thuddy
* Last is a straight vibration pattern

This is a POWERFUL toy. The lowest settings are deep and rumbly and the higher settings can get a bit more buzzy, but never reach that high pitched painful sensation of some vibrators. Furthermore, once you find your perfect setting, it will remember this setting and turn on to it automatically next time you are ready to play!

I recommend, highly, using a couple of drops of water based lube (silicone lube will damage the finish of the toy) as the silicone has quite a bit of drag. The lube also seems to elevate the vibrations a bit, causing them to feel more intense. This toy is perfect for slipping between bodies during PIV sex and the vibrations could be easily felt by my partners.

The Form 3 isn't a large toy, it is only 4" long! It easily and comfortably fits in the palm of my hand. If you have the vibe up to the higher level, it will make your hand tingle when you are done, but it isn't a painful sensation. This is also a lightweight toy (.2 lbs only); it won't cause wrist strain or fatigue. It is also a very quiet toy; it can be heard through covers but not through a closed door at the highest speed and noisiest pattern.

The Form 3 is very easy to keep clean. It requires only a warm water and mild soap wash before and after use. The base is not waterproof and should be cleaned with a damp cloth. Be sure both the toy and base are dry before plugging the charger in.

This isn't an insertable toy, but it can be used to stimulate just about any area of the surface of the body. This toy is wonderful for a neck massage; slow back or leg massage; teasing the penis, scrotum and taint; or for relaxing the anal rim. It works amazingly for nipple stimulation and can elevate into torture depending on the strength of the vibrations!

The vibrations are concentrated in the tip of the toy but travel so well throughout the body that I found I could use the side of the base of the toy to get off that one more time when my clit was very sensitive from over stimulation.

One night I had a massive charley horse in the arch of my foot and the Form 3 was beside the bed. I turned it on to the rapid pulsing and rested it against the twisting muscle and was astonished at how fast the muscle relaxed. I was able to work out the cramp with much less pain than normal, making this a Godsend.

This is my first truly luxury vibrator and I am so very glad I had the opportunity to try it out. It is so totally worth the hefty price tag and I have a renewed interest in the other Forms, despite the design flaws of the Form 2! I see that there is a Form 4 in the works as well according to the pamphlet...

I wish there was a button for liking it more! The form 3 at first use is not as wonderful as it's luxury price tag might lead one to believe. The thing is if you continue to play with the toy it opens up slowly like a many layered onion. I have found all parts of the toy can bring slow intense and shuddering orgasm if you can get past the instant quick gratification mindset. This is a toy that is meant for luxurious slow teasing play either with or without a partner. I ecourage anyone looking for a toy that will grow in your heart to try the form 3. Though it's like building an intense love affair; it takes time and effort but oh my goodness it is SO worth it!
