The best use for this toy would be vaginally or anally. However, he is also pretty good at clitoral stimulation as well. B.O.B is suitable for anyone, new and advanced users, although, if you are a size queen you may not be thrilled with the smaller size of this toy. B.O.B is great when used alone or with a partner.

The Pure Silicone B.O.B has a ribbed shaft, textured head that is quite life-like in shape/texture and has little nubs toward the base for clitoral stimulation. I'm quite impressed with the veiny shaft and the head as it feels quite lifelike. I am not, however, too thrilled with the nubs on the base. Although they look like they would be wonderful, it fails at actually pulling through with the idea. First of all, you need to insert it all the way in to even get the nubs remotely close to the clit and once there, the vibrations lack on the nubs. But, more on the vibrations later. Overall, I'm really very happy with the texture.

This toy is made of 100% silicone and depending who you are that could be a great thing or a not so great thing. Remember to not use silicone based lube with this toy. He is non-porous, phthalates free, hypo-allergenic, latex free and made of food grade material. There is no smell or much of a taste, so you are not overwhelmed by the "oh there is a toy in this room" smell. (you know what I'm talking about!) The top half (head to middle of shaft) is quite flexible, making it nice to be able to position him where you need him. Easily manipulated to come in contact with the g-spot even though it is not specifically a "g-spot toy". I'm really very happy, overall, with the texture of this toy.

Now, back to the design of this toy. As I said, I LOVE the texture. However, the design, although a great idea, really fails at delivering. Specifically I am referring to the nubs at the base. For me, they fail at stimulating the clit properly. Most of the flaw falls on the vibrations, which I will get into a bit later. The size is great. If you are a size queen, this might not be your toy. B.O.B is 8 1/2" in length with 6 1/2" insertable, 5 1/2" in circumference and weighs 7 oz. While not necessarily a size for beginners, he is quite suitable for the average user. Due to the shape of this toy, I would recommend keeping him hidden and out of sight.

Oh the controls and vibrations. I am at a conflict on this as to whether or not I like them. While the vibrations are powerful and the patterns are terrific, it lacks in overall vibrations. The vibrations seem to be focused more on the head than the entire toy. The vibrations can really only be felt on the first inch of the head. Very disappointing to say the least. I was so excited to feel the nubs on the base vibrate against my clit and was let down in a big way. The idea of the design is great, but when it comes to delivery, it fails miserably in the vibration department.

The controls are quite simple to use. There is an on/off button on the side of the base. Also, there is a button next to the on/off button to scroll through the various patterns of vibration. It has 10 functions that range from solid vibrations to many different pulsating patterns. I do like the patterns, though I just wish they were not focused on just the head of the toy. This toy is waterproof, though I have not yet ventured in the water with him. He takes two AA batteries, which so far, seem to keep good power. Not the quietest of toys, but also not the loudest either. I would say used under a blanket behind a closed door you probably wouldn't hear him.

To clean this toy I would use either a toy cleaner or just some hot water and mild soap. Pay close attention to all the little veins and ridges as they can be a bit tricky and hide bacteria. Remember to NOT use any silicone based lubes with this toy. Also, he is best hidden in a pouch or toybox as it is quite obvious what it is by looks.

Pure Silicone B.O.B comes in a plastic, see-through box. Not very convenient for storage, although not impossible also. Also, included is a small instruction sheet, though he is quite easy to use.
