The Sparkle Softees the G by California Exotic Novelties is a great toy. It's small size, cute design and packaging make it a great toy for beginners. The toy has three speeds and I would say it has a vroom level of about four, which could get just about anyone off if placed in the right spot. The size makes it optimal for travel; I've brought this on many trips and never had any problems before. The size also makes it perfect for either beginner toy users or people wanting to try anal. The lack of advanced textures would make it a great beginner anal toy. This is an all around great toy that could work for many different uses. It could be used for either men or women, vaginal or anal insertion or any play you have in mind.

Material/Texture

This toy is made of a TPR material, rating a 7 on the safety scale. The material is soft and has no smell, which is great. However, TPR is porous material and this toy should not be shared without a condom. This toy can be cleaned either by washing it with soap and water or disinfecting it with toy cleaner, whichever you choose. As far as the experience, I've had no problems with this material. It's not quite flat or smooth; it has grooves and two little ridges towards the 'head' which allow for better stimulation while inserted. Again, it has just the right amount of texture for both beginners and advanced users.

Design/Shape/Size

The design is great. It has a small curve towards the top, which makes finding your g-spot very easy. It has two ribs near the top that feel great when using the toy. It also features a bulge near the top, center and again at the end. The toy has a insertable length of 6" (total length 7 1/4") and a circumference of 3 3/4". This is also a very light weight toy. The small size makes it easy to store in something like a toy chest, makeup bag or even something the size of a lunch box. As mentioned before, this toy could easily be traveled with, because of it's size and lack of phallic appearance. The batteries are stored at the bottom in an easy to open and close container.

Functions/Performance/Control

This toy is great as far as performance goes. The vibrations are by no means weak and combined with the raised section for g-spot stimulation, this toy has no problems in that arena. You could also use this toy with a clitoral stimulator, if necessary. The controls are quite easy to use. The toy has a single button on the bottom of where the batteries are stored. Being on the bottom of the toy, the speeds can be changed while inserted, however some people may find this uncomfortable (personally I didn't). Each press of the button elevates the intensity of the vibrations. There are 3 separate speeds. Unlike some toys where you cannot tell that you have changed the speed, the increases on this toy are noticeable. The only problem I found in this toy was how loud it is. It can easily be heard under covers, even while inserted. So if you live in a dorm room or with someone you don't want hearing, this may not be the toy for you. However, you may want to purchase the toy just for it's shape and design. If used with a clitoral vibrator, you may not even need to use it's vibrating feature. The toy IS waterproof, which makes it much easier to clean (no worries about water getting in the battery pack) and it can be used in the shower, bath or pool which is always a plus.

Care and Maintenance

This toy is very easy to maintain. As mentioned before, this toy can be cleaned by soap and water, toy cleaner or even baby wipes. This toy cannot be boiled. I usually leave my batteries (it takes two AAA batteries) in this toy and haven't had a problem yet, but many advise that you shouldn't so it's up to you. This toy can be used with either silicone or water-based lubricant.

Personally, I love this toy. It was one of my first toys (I want to say it was the third) and I've had it for over a year and still love it. I highly recommend this toy to anyone and everyone. The only problem that I can see is that it is a loud toy. I have no other complaints!

I still really love this toy. I've had this for at least a year or two and it hasn't broken and still works perfectly. I mostly use it for just the G-spot shape now due to the loudness of the vibrations.
