Pearl passion tease - g-spot vibrator discontinued by Cal Exotics - review by llellsee

I had high expectations of this toy when I found out it was on it's way. I was attracted initially by its appearance, as its curve looked visually appealing and hit the right spot for me.

At first glance at the main product page, I had failed to notice that it was made of both plastic and TPR. Judging by the photos, I had thought it to just be made of plastic, so when it arrived I was both surprised and pleased with the material.

-Packaging-

The passion pearl tease arrived in simple plastic packaging with no nudity or posing porn star looking models, something that I always think of as a plus. Though simple, the packaging is what makes this a suitable choice of toy to present to someone as a gift.

Including information on the function of the toy within, it lists some of its boasts as it being unscented, waterproof, and featuring dual intense speeds. There is also a link for product registration provided and a leaflet with battery insertion instructions.





-Form/Function-

As I mentioned above, just based on the product images I had been expecting a toy made of plastic throughout, so once removed from the packaging I was surprised, but pleasantly so. To the feel most of the toy has a pretty solid build, with some flexibility half way down the insertable length of the toy, and a soft and squidgy tip. It has slight ribbing on the sides and front of the toy, and a smooth curved tip for G-spot stimulation.

The circumference along the length of the shaft does vary between 3 1/4 " at its thinest, and 3 1/2 " at its widest, the bend of the G-spot tip is 3 3/4 at its thickest.

One of my favourite things about this toy is the cap, not only does it give you over two inches to hold while using the toy, but the twisting on and off of the cap is simple and leaves a secure seal. Being a water proof toy, there is a small rubber ring within to help create that water tight seal.

The top of the cap even includes some battery and function information. The power button on the Pearl passion tease is perhaps the best power button I have used on a toy. Coated in a soft rubber like material, it needs to be firmly pressed to switch the toy on, you will hear one click as you press down the button and one more click as you release your finger from it. The motor of the toy only starts on the second click once you pull your finger away.

Pressing and holding down the button will temporarily stop vibrations and again releasing the botton will then bring the toy up to its second and stronger speed.
With the packaging of the toy boasting 'dual intense speeds', I was sceptical at first. One thing that drew me to this toy when I first noticed it on Eden was that It only takes one AA battery so I wasn't expecting this to have the strongest vibrations aswell. But it turns out it to have well surpassed my expectations, with me even spending a few play sessions with it only needing to use it on the lower of the two speed settings, not bad for something powered by one AA!

-Care-

The insertable length of the Pearl passion tease is made of TPR, and the cap is made of plastic. The safety rating of this toy is lasted as being 7 out of 10. In terms of safety it is hypo-allergenic, latex free and phthalates free. TPR is less porous than jelly or cyberskin material toys, but cannot be disinfected by boiling like silicone can. It is recommended that you clean toys both before and after use, and that they are stored somewhere both clean and where they wont react to each other. Storing toys together can cause reactions between them that can make toys appear to melt.

The best way I have found to prevent this is to keep all my toys each stored in their own zip-loc bag, not only is it a pretty cheap solution to toys melting together but it can also be a great space saver when it comes to sex toy storage.

Warm water and a mild soap can be used to clean, or a specific sex toy cleaning solution/sex toy wipes can be used. I would recommend using a water based lubricant if needed.

I'm personally a big fan of smaller toys so this toy was heaven to me, and I found it works well as a warm up toy or one for quick sessions. The G-spot bend hits the spot right, it might not stimulate it to the point that my pure wand does, but for smaller travel friendly toy its pretty outstanding. The firm build allows it to reach the spot without bending out of shape and the softer tip means you can use it for longer, pressing down on the G-spot without causing discomfort.

I really haven't been dissapointed in my experience with the Pearl passion tease. Powered by one AA battery, with strong vibrations and decent battery life. It is compact and suitable for traveling without being too small to enjoy. Ideal for both beginners and experienced toy users alike, it is of high quality of build and design.
