There are some interesting points noted on the package regarding the authenticity of silicone material. If there is any odor to the silicone, that means it is not pure 100% silicone. Should the material become discolored or the color doesn't stay sharp and clear, it's not pure silicone. And a waterproof silicone vibrator should be able to survive a run through the dishwasher coming out intact.

A nice thing about having the dedicated on/off button is that you can power the vibrator off any time you choose. And when you power it back on, it resumes at the cycle running when it was powered off.

Now, this is always my favorite part of any vibrator - the functions. Straight vibrations can be great, but I love patterns and rumbly vibrations. Now the vibrations information online and the information I found on the box about the 10 functions really don't mean much to me. So I will share my experience and vibration knowledge.

I do have to admit that vibrations #8, #3, #10 vibration patterns, in that order from strongest of the 3 to the least are rather weak, noticeable, but weak for my tastes on my clit. And I have a very sensitive clit. While inserted, they are rather weak.

Now, #1, #2, #4, # 6, #7, #9 are much stronger vibrations. #5 is middle of the road yet much stronger than the 3 weak vibration patterns. All thes vibrations have a rumbly quality to them. The #'s 1, 2, 4, 6, 7, 9 vibration patterns are most definitely a delicious tease for my clit as well as vaginally.

Overall, as far as powerful vibrations, they aren't. They are of a medium - low, or so, quality of powerful. Certainly a great teaser or great for someone new to vibrators to experiement with what they like. Or they are great for someone who doesn't want a lot of power. If you're learning about the vibrations and power you like, I think this would be a good choice. The vibrator has a varitey of power levels and vibration levels to experiment with and choose from.

I personally don't like a lot of power on my clit. But give me the power for my vag. So Pure Ecstasy is fun for my clit while not meeting my vaginal desires. I've based the powerfulness of the vibrations in comparison to Starlet which I find to be quite powerful. And I think that Starlet has the power that can be enjoyed by power queens.

Be sure to wash Pure Ecstasy before and after each use. Oh, could care and maintenance get any easier? Simply wash in warm soapy water. Or you can use your favorite toy cleaner. I clean up after my "toy time" with gentle soap and warm water followed by air drying. It's important to know your toy materials when storing your treasures. You don't want any chemical interactions between materials. I like to be on the safe side so I just store my toys in their own pouch or baggie. Proper cleaning is important to follow in order to prevent any bacteria attaching itself to any of your treasures. Oh, did I mention that only waterbased lube is safe to use with silicone? Using a silicone lube with your silicone toy will degrade the silicone of your toy. Also, if you want to share Pure Ecstasy, be sure to sterilize it or use condoms.

I do enjoy Pure Ecstasy as a change from my clit and g-spot vibrators as a warm up for my orgasm guaranteed vibrators. And I like some of the functions. I just really needed them to be much more powerful. The 3 weak vibration functions need to be much, much stronger. I think overall, the functions were a good idea. However, they just didn't deliver quality power. I also discovered that when I used a stimulating lube or gel, the only vibrations I could even feel were #'s1, 4, 6. And at that, they were quite weak, not even a teaser. And, the vibrator ran through batteries quite fast. This just isn't the vibrator for me.
