Traditional vibrator discontinued
by NMC Ltd

Ecstasy by any other name would be just as hard to spell.

For us, every orgasm is a hard fought battle, where vibrators and wands take the place of swords and armor. To continue the use of a completely unnecessary metaphor, the Pure Ecstasy pink is a copper blade in the age of steel. Sure it looks shiny and new at first; able to pull pleasure out of the darkest of crevices, but it quickly dulls when you need it the most.

Pros
Variety of vibrations. Pure silicone.
Cons
Flexibility reduces effectiveness. Vibrations ordered poorly. Uncommon batteries.

extremely useful review
My wife has only recently embraced the fact that she does, contrary to her previous notions, have a G-spot. Through a little trial and error and a lot of persistence, I was able to show her the error of her ways, and simultaneously discover a new way to incapacitate her if there was ever a need. The Pure ecstasy g-spot vibrator was the end result of our recent discovery, and it resulted in mixed success.

Made of pure silicone and flexible to the touch, the Ecstasy was shaped in such a way that there was a nubbed cup at the end, which I still cannot quite understand the mechanics of. The indention would imply that it is used to cup the area around the g-spot for stimulation, so that is the first way we tried it. There are 10 different vibrating speeds and patterns, three of varying intensity and seven of varying patterns of those intensities. With a handful of lubrication and a quick insertion, we were on our way.

As mentioned before, my wife does not orgasm through g-spot stimulation alone, requiring heavy clitoral stimulation to get off. We used a second wand on her clit while we used the Ecstasy, but she wasn’t able to climax without some more manual help from me. Others who find it easier to orgasm through g-spot stimulation may find their results differ from the use of this toy, but several flaws became apparent in our use of it. It should also be noted that we also tried to use this toy as a clitoral stimulator, with limited success. The same flaws that became apparent in g-spot usage also became apparent during clit usage.

The previously mentioned cup at the end of the vibrator does not function as intended. I say that because I have no idea what was intended, since pressure on the g-spot is what usually brings about orgasm. That, coupled with its flexible nature meant that when we needed the pressure to induce orgasm, it was near impossible to orient the vibrator into the correct position. The flexibility resulted in a loss of control and pressure, two things that are important for insertion orgasms. Another annoying feature is the order in which the vibration patterns are laid out. Normally we would use a low vibration at the beginning of sex, and as she got closer, we would gradually increase the intensity. The problem with this is with the Ecstasy, the first three vibrations are set High, Medium, and Low, followed by seven other patterns. To go from Low to Medium, you would have to cycle though eight other vibrations before returning to Medium. It’s a small detail, but one that becomes apparent when you need it most. Finally, it uses uncommon batteries (N type), which may be annoying to try and find in a fix.

Maybe we’re being too hard on the toy, since my wife usually needs very specific stimulations to reach orgasm. But maybe we’re not, because you would think someone who wanted to get off wouldn’t have made something that wouldn’t put pressure on the g-spot nor have the vibrations ordered in the most inconvenient way possible. It didn’t take long for us to revert to our glass and hard plastic toys, and I would say if you bought this, you would probably revert soon too.
