Waterproof jungle-G tiger - sex toy by Cal Exotics - review by Danzig ate your mother

Purrfectly mediocre...

This product leaves me stumped. It is too expensive for a first time g-spot toy, yet not diverse enough for the experienced user. At least it has a shower hook?
Appealing design, nifty shower hook, affordable, waterproof.
Only two speeds, extremely rigid, noisy.

This product is nice for g-spot (and probably prostate also) stimulation. The point is perfect for clitoral stimulation as well, especially considering that the bullet is located at the top of the toy. Because of the simple controls and design of this product, it should not be intimidating for beginners. More experienced users (or beginners who require intense vibrations), may be disappointed by the power (or lack there of) of this product.

Material / Texture

This vibrator is made out of plastic featuring animal print. Plastic is odorless, tasteless, non-porous and phthalate-free. It has a smooth, firm texture that could be suitable for users of any experience level contingent on their preferences of firmness. This particular product is very hard.

Design / Shape / Size

I'm always a sucker for animal print so I found the pattern on this vibrator especially appealing. The size is appropriate for beginners, and those who prefer g-spot stimulation with less girth. The shower hook is a pleasant idea although I'm not sure how practical it really is. As far as discretion goes, this one would be pretty difficult to hide. It is 8 1/2" long which tends to be too loud for convenient travel. It is also pretty loud so you might not want to use it when company is visiting.

Functions / Performance / Controls

The vibrations are located at the top of this product, at the curve. There is one continuous vibration setting with two speeds. These speeds appear to be low-medium and high-medium. There is no gentle speed, nor a mind-blowing one, and not much difference between the two.

The vibration is controlled by a red button on the base. You press it once for low, again for high, and again to shut the toy off. This toy is fairly noisy, especially considering the lack of power. It has held up well in water, although I have not kept it submerged for long durations of time yet.

Care and Maintenance

This product is made of plastic, which is a non-porous and phthalate-free material. This toy can be cleaned with antibacterial soap and hot water, by wiping down with isopropyl alcohol, or using a toy cleaner. It is compatible with most lubricants including oil, silicone, and water-based.

The packaging suggests using the hook on the base to allow for storage in the shower. Batteries should always be removed from vibrators during storage, but I would be especially wary of leaving batteries in a toy that is left in the shower at all times. I can not guarantee the life span of this toy if stored in the shower as I have always kept mine with the rest of my arsenal.

Personal comments

I have tested the hook on the Jungle-G in a few different showers. In some, it snaps nicely onto the back of the shower head but is difficult to remove, and on some it is impossible to use in this location. I would suggest hanging it on a soap caddy if you intend to keep it in the shower to prolong the life of the hook and keep from breaking it.

Thus far my best experience with this vibrator has been when my partner spins it around inside me in a stirring motion. I have yet to reenact this sensation on myself, but he is always pleased to assist.

You said this toy is good for g-spot stimulation, but did YOU enjoy the type of stimulation it provided to your g-spot?

I wouldn't call $20 too expensive for a first toy, nor would I say this one isn't diverse enough for experienced users. A good, solid waterproof toy for a low $20 is kind of a win/win situation for everyone.

Happy Lady, it is definitely not the best g-spot vibrator that I own and I have ended up using it more for clitoral stimulation than internally.

Carrie Ann, maybe you are correct and I have judged this product a bit harshly. However, I have known of quite a few first time buyers who wanted to spend 10-15 to try things out. And with the two moderate settings, I do feel this toy is not diverse at all. Maybe I am spoiled though.

Thank you for your comments ladies. (^_^)

I think I always look at the $20 and under range as being "inexpensive". It's another of those subjective things, I guess.

I don't think I'd actually *buy* this after reading this review; it sounds kind of blah. But (since I already had something I wanted) I just added it onto my order. How is it with batteries? Does it use them up fast?

Thanks for the review. Seems to me like it is good to take advantage of now that it is free, otherwise probably not worth paying for.
