Rumbly and strong, but very impractical

The Power Swirl is not for everyone, but if you're a size queen or like very powerful, deep, external vibrations, this toy is for you. It only has two settings, which don't let you work up to the power, and it has no patterns. If you plan to insert this, it will take patience and a lot of warming up, but for the price it would be good to experiment with if you know you like large toys.

Use

The Jumping Gyrator Power Swirl is a motorized toy that just vibrates. Unlike the name implies, this toy does not rotate, gyrate, or swirl, but has the same function as other, traditional vibrators.

The main use for this toy is external stimulation. This toy is good to use for external stimulation because of the pointed tip, which is good for pinpoint stimulation, and the large, textured sides which are better for broad stimulation. This also can be used externally on the nipples or even the occasional sore muscle.

While this toy is insertable, this will be a feat for most women. It's very girthy and doesn't have much of a taper at the point, so much lube and warming up will be needed. Once inserted, this toy is good for thrusting and light g-spot stimulation, though it's not curved.

This toy is not anal safe at all, though it can be used for external anal stimulation. It has no flared base, retrieval cord, or handle, so there's nothing to keep this from slipping out of your lubed up fingers. While advanced users might be able to use this safely if they are careful, I still would recommend finding something made for anal insertion to be on the safe side.

If you're looking for a first toy to use as a couple, this probably isn't going to be it. The large size means that it's not going to be good for warming up to insertion, the girth makes it tough to fit between people during sex, and it's very intimidating.

For similar reasons, this would be a less-than-stellar toy to get as your first in general. Even if you're used to penetration, the hard material, texture, and girth all would make this better for people who know what they like in an insertable toy.

This toy would be all right to use in a dorm or apartment setting, but if you have particularly thin walls it may be a good idea to turn on a TV or radio to keep suspicion down. It is waterproof and shouldn't be able to be heard over the shower.

Material / Texture

The Power Swirl is made of PU coated plastic. PU coated plastic is rated a 7 out of 10 on the Eden Safety Scale. According to this forum post, the PU coating can be semi-porous if it's thick, but it is not porous in such a thin layer like this toy has.

Plastic is nonporous and body safe, which means that bacteria can not grow inside of it, and that it can not seep gross chemicals into your body during use. It's also latex free, in case you have an allergy to latex.

Plastic can be disinfected, but not by boiling because it can melt and deform under high temperatures. You will want to disinfect this toy by wiping it down with a 10% bleach solution. This will kill any bacteria and make it safe to switch users.

This toy is PU coated, also known as 'velvet touch' coated, so it has a bit more drag than non-coated plastics. Between the wide girth and texture, lube is a must when inserting this toy. If you're using this externally, lube isn't needed.

This toy comes in pink, blue, and purple. While the blue and purple aren't very feminine or masculine, the pink is more feminine. The blue is very attractive and wouldn't make a man feel like he was using a 'girl' toy due to the color.

Plastic is entirely rigid and has no give to it at all. When talking about small internal toys or external toys, this rigidity is a good thing, but not so much for larger ones. If you have trouble with inserting a penis of this size, the toy won't be any easier because it isn't as soft. The material also makes the texture stand out more, which can be irritating, painful, or overwhelming when a toy is this girthy.

In total, the Power Swirl is made of a great material, but the girth, combined with the rigidity, makes it a very intense toy. The material would make it great for anyone, but not the design.

Design / Shape / Size

The design of this toy is what sets it apart from the rest. At first glance, especially when just looking at the photo online, this seems to just be a normal, 'traditional' style toy, but don't let that fool you. This toy is for size queens!

This toy is 7.5 inches long in total, with 6.5 of those being insertable. Pretty much the entire toy, sans the very tip, is 5.5 inches around. The tip and the areas where the textured ridges are tend to be a tad bit wider. Because of this, it's not much longer than the average penis, but is MUCH wider. If your partner has girth-envy issues, this toy might cause some problems with them.

Because of the girth, this isn't for people who aren't used to penetration, or even for people who like averaged sized toys. This toy is for size queens who want texture and a very rigid material. If you are okay with this girth in a realistic dildo, you still may not be comfortable with the girth in plastic, because it feels much thicker and less forgiving.

The tip is very slightly pointed, but having this bump your cervix is probably going to be the least of your problems. It flares out quickly and then narrows very slightly in the shaft. In the shaft there is a raised swirl. While this is nice when used internally, it also adds a nice texture when this toy is used externally.

The rounded base is easy to hold, and is fairly large to be in proportion with the toy. It should be easy enough to hold if you have small or large hands, but the button is fairly easy to press accidentally.

If you left this toy out, it's very obvious what it is, even if it doesn't look realistic. It's also not the most convenient size to hide or travel with, though it can be thrown into a suitcase or very large purse.

In total, this toy's design is not for the faint of heart. If you're not a size queen and are looking for something to use internally, this is probably just going to collect dust, because it's much larger than most women will be able to easily use without a lot of practice.

Functions / Performance / Controls

The functions of this toy are a bit different than other toys of a similar type. Instead of focusing on giving you many choices, options, and patterns, they tried to give you two settings that were very strong and rumbly.

The first setting, which you get to by pressing the button at the base once, is about a 2.5 in power and 2 in bee. The second setting, which you get to by pressing the button again, is a very low 4 in power and low 3 in bees. You turn the toy off by pressing the button again. While this may be heard through a door in a very quiet house, turning on some light music will easily remedy that.

As far as the style of vibrations goes, this toy is VERY rumbly. This, on top of the strong power, will impress a lot of people, especially since most cheaper toys tend to have buzzier vibrations on the highest settings.

The strong yet simple motor is located in the tip of this toy, but the vibrations travel through the entire thing very well. Because of this, it does tend to numb the fingers after prolonged use, so that's something to keep in mind if you're really bothered by that.

This toy is also waterproof, which means it's a good bath or shower partner. The o-ring around the battery compartment keeps any water from getting inside of it.

For 3 AAA batteries this toy has a lot of power, but the batteries are also a bit complicated to insert. One battery goes the opposite way of the other batteries, so take care to read the stickers when you install them.

In total, this toy has a LOT of power, but not a lot of variety. If you're a sensitive user, or someone who likes to start off with very weak vibrations and work up to stronger ones, this may not be for you. At the same time, this would be great for someone who likes strong, deep vibrations but doesn't want to spend an arm and a leg.

Care and Maintenance

The Power Swirl has no deep texture or real seams, so it's super easy to clean. The ridges don't have any areas that collect gunk. It doesn't attract lint, so you can get away with only cleaning it after every use if you keep it in a clean place. You can clean your toy with an antibacterial toy cleaner, a toy wipe, or soap and water.

You can disinfect this toy by wiping it down with a 10% bleach solution. This prevents the spread of bacteria and infection, which means that you can switch users without worry. This should be done every time you switch users, or go from external anal stimulation to vaginal insertion.

This toy can be stored just about anywhere. Plastic is compatible with all other types of materials, so you don't have to worry about it reacting with your collection. It's also compatible with water- and silicone-based lubes.

Packaging

The packaging for the Power Swirl is very basic. It is made entirely of thin plastic, which is not very sturdy. Even in the mail the packaging was slightly smushed, so it's not something that's going to outlast the toy.

The front of the packaging is clear, so you can easily see the toy. It also states the name of the toy and the brand, along with some abstract, decorative graphics. The back of the packaging has some bullet points highlighting the features of the toy in several different languages. This contains most of the information you'll need to use the toy.

Inside of the packaging is a small slip with images of the toy, telling you how to insert the batteries. While this is a nice touch, the most informative instructions are in the toy itself. When you open the battery compartment there are three stickers telling you which direction each battery is supposed to go.

While the packaging doesn't have any naked women or lewd sayings on it, it's still not the classiest packaging, and it's obvious what you're getting. It would be fine to wrap up and give as a gift, but because of the thin material and bulky shape, this isn't the best way to store the toy.

Experience

When I accepted this as a DR, I was not quite ready for just how thick it was going to be. When I first held this in my hand I was surprised, because the girth of this toy is much too large for the average person to just up and use.

Even with much warming up, this toy was way too thick for me to insert. While I am a girth wimp, I think that most people would agree with me. Even if you are okay with the large girth, the firm material and ridges would make this feel even more intense.

If you're a size queen on a budget, this toy may be perfect for you. It's also pretty darned powerful and super rumbly, which makes it great for external use. On the flipside, this toy does only have two settings (strong and stronger), so there isn't much variety.

I am giving this toy 4 out of 5 stars. My own personal rating would be more along the lines of a 3, as I don't think that many people will be able to handle the girth, but as a DR this is my more objective rating.

I'm sure it's just a typo, but this actually takes AA battiers, not AAA. Thanks for the review! I love mine, though agree it's much too large.
