Shimmers massager - traditional vibrator discontinued by Cal Exotics - review by Sirene

I decided to try this Shimmers massager|Traditional vibrator by California Exotic because its design looked perfect to handle whatever stimulation I felt the need to satisfy. The first thing that I was curious to experiment with was the fact that this product features vertical (up and down) ribbing instead of the traditional horizontal ribbing. I put some batteries in and went to town.

The buzzing was a little loud, but not intolerable or annoying. I'd advise that when you use this product you have some music on or TV in the background, and that's really all you'll need to mask the hum. I decided to test all of the vibration settings both through clitoral stimulation and penetration. The small curve of the head and the smooth rounded tip made it perfect for clitoral play. The lower vibration settings are perfect to start off with for easy arousal, and by the time you work your way up to the maximum setting, I found it did its job very well. Not only is the smooth tip great for clitoral stimulation, but the vertical ribbing added its own fun if you play with it by kind of twisting the vibrator around while simultaneously moving it around on the clit -- terrific climaxes were achieved in the writing of this review!

As for penetration, the material was perfect, although the vertical ribbing felt a little weird at first if you're just doing some basic in-and-out motion. I found that the best way to maximize your fun with this toy was by also kind of twisting it as you used it to penetrate because you would feel the full effects of the ribbing. Granted, my hand hurt a little after having to constantly keep it twisting to enjoy the ribbing, but it was worth it. The lowest through highest settings of the vibrator were perfect no matter what I wanted, and the small curvature at the top was unique and perfect for teasing the g-spot during penetration play.

Clean up was standard and simple, although I found that it's smart to pay close attention to washing the ribbing thoroughly, as well as the material change between the tip and the shaft. As long as you know the "problem areas" to clean and just spend a few extra seconds being meticulous while cleaning, it's a very easy process.

This product is recommended for those who are looking for clitoral and penetration stimulation, and want to have a nice, intimate session instead of a quickie. The product takes a little more manual work by your hand because of its ribbing, but it's design, material and range of vibration strength make it a great little toy for your collection!
