Smooth As Honey

The toy, overall, was a great steal. The price is perfect, and the toy gives you more than what you were expecting. Although the button is a little difficult to use, the discreet, small size and the low level of sound make the toy fun for anywhere. The material is not only easy to clean but feels amazing whether being used to tease and excite or used to actually penetrate—it doesn't let you down in any way. This is worth the money spent and then some.

Use

The Little Honey Grooved Edition is quickly climbing to the top of my list of favorite toys. It can be used with a partner or even alone. The possibilities seem endless with this toy. The Honey can be used inside the anus or vagina or on other parts of the body for light stimulation. Honey is rounded, making it better for insertion rather than for stimulation of the clitoris; but when laid flat, it can be used to stimulate the entire area though a bit of force is needed. Whether lubed or dry, the Honey is easy to slide into the body.

The Honey was great for foreplay with my partner; the high intensity of the vibe made it much more fun. It was best used with another toy in the anus to give the feel of being tighter as it vibrates. The Little Honey is a sweetly smooth toy.

Material / Texture

When first opening the toy, the light pink coloring appealed greatly to my girlie nature. The toy's scent is unique only to a new plastic toy. The plastic has little give in it, so the grooves don't flex and move, which would be nice; but they can still be felt due to the hardness. The nonflexibilty of the Little Honey would be better suited for someone a little more used to toys so as to not hurt themselves while playing with it. The grooves add to the pleasure; while it vibrates, you can feel the grooves slightly pressing. The smoothness of the material makes it easier for playing without lubricant. Although the button at the end to switch speeds on the vibrator is slightly hard to press, it does make it less likely to turn on when hidden away.

I love to feel different textures when playing with myself, and the Little Honey provides a great opportunity for this sensation. There are no seams except at the bottom where the plastic meets a small metal ring. The ring is mainly for looks and can't be felt while in use. For an added feeling, twisting it while inside the vagina means the grooves can be felt even better. The toy's material and make only add to the fun it gives.

Design / Shape / Size

The Little Honey Grooved Edition is a small toy that sits perfectly in the palm of my hand. The hypoallergenic plastic material is smooth to feel in your hands. It has a simple, straightforward design: it is straight with small grooves going vertically down the shaft of it. The smallness took away from the toy. A little longer length or more width would have made the grooves stand out more against the regular surface. The size is better for people who are just starting out so as to not "scare" them away from vibrators although the smallness makes it a bit harder to play with alone. When you try to press the button, the harder material of the button and the wetness from the vagina cause deeper slipping into the vagina. With this toy, it's definitely better to have a partner who can push the button rather than having to take it out and do it yourself.

The ability to hide the Little Honey is quite easy. The smallness of it makes it easy to simply put it in the bottom of your purse or in a side table drawer. It can fit into small places, making hiding places easier to find. I would feel completely comfortable taking this with me on trips. I currently carry it around in my purse without anyone being the wiser of its placement there. Although a small case or carrying system would have made it better, it can fit into a small pencil bag, so it doesn't take away from it too much.

Functions / Performance / Controls

The position of the button on the Honey is difficult to use while the toy itself is in use. It's placed at the very bottom of the toy. It's easiest to use while outside the body rather than having the problem of pushing it deeper while increasing the pulse. The vibrations seem to come from the middle of the toy and help to create a better and more pleasurable experience for the user. The toy had only three settings: a slower, quieter setting; a louder, faster setting; and, finally, off. Although you can hear a difference in the sound between the two levels, the sound doesn't get so loud that you couldn't muffle it with your hand. Unlike most small vibes, the Little Honey doesn't drain the batteries. In fact, the battery life rivals that of some rechargeable toys I own.

Whether it's being used in the tub, shower, or bedroom, the sound and feeling never falters. The biggest problem with the Honey in the shower is that the smooth material that's so convenient in the bedroom becomes much more slick and harder to hold in the shower. The already hard-to-push buttons become nearly impossible to use without actually taking it out and pushing the buttons. Moving the placement of the button would make the toy almost perfect. The only drawback is the difficulty of pushing it while using it, without taking it out.

Care and Maintenance

The slick plastic of the Little Honey makes it hard to use it with lubes. Lubricants seemed to make the material hard to hold on to, making natural lube one of the only options to use with this toy. Cleaning this toy was extremely easy: after use, a quick wash under warm water with mild soap made it as good as new. The grooves, unlike most toys of this kind, were extremely easy to clean. Also, they aren't too deep that it is difficult to just take a cloth or sponge to them. Placing it in the dishwasher wouldn't be recommended. The toy is easy to store. It can be stored with other toys in a toy box or gathering place or stored separately—whichever is preferred.

Packaging

The overall packaging of the toy was a simple cardboard box and plastic holder. It could be used to wrap it up to give. As for instructions, none came with it. I also wouldn't recommend using the box continually for storage. The box screams, "Sex toy," so trashing the box for discreetness is also an option.

Personal comments

Buy it—it's money well worth it. The toy packs a powerful punch for anyone playing with it.

Experience

The toy was easy to use right from the box. Just slide in one battery, and it's set to play. My boyfriend and I both used this toy for foreplay. The small size also makes it possible to use while having sex without it hurting or being uncomfortable. The vibration patterns can be used to tease on a slower, more romantic pattern or on a faster, almost bumblebee-like pattern. The Little Honey was great for both anal and vaginal play. The small size can leave a person wanting, but the vibration punch it supplies makes for a great toy. Used for foreplay is the best option with this toy. An orgasm is possible with it, but it takes some time and another person with great skill. After playing with it, it was placed on the floor while we focused on sex without it. It was fine; nothing had gotten stuck to it. The toy will be kept by my bedside for quick bursts of fun.
Follow-up commentary
The Little Honey Grooved still remains one of my least favorite toys. Although it has a new habit of shocking me when I try to use it. I prefer to just keep it on the shelf for use without the vibrator. I have begun to enjoy the grooves on it for just normal use. When you take away the vibrator aspect, it's not bad at giving a different kind of feeling in bed. Overall, it's not a horrible toy, it's just one I would not fully recommend buying. It does hold true - you get what you pay for.

Good review, but it's not exactly ideal for anal penetration since there's no flared base. Someone is bound to lose one one day
