Animalistique garter slip and thong - chemise discontinued by DreamGirl - review by LLmama

This is the first lingerie piece I've owned, other than a bra & panty set that made me feel flat out sexy. My husband wishes I would wear lingerie more, and after trying on this stunning chemise from DreamGirl, I think he might be getting his way. I ordered the size small. DreamGirls size info for SM suggests size 2-4 (I'm typically a size 0-1), A-B cup (I'm a post breastfeeding mom whose breasts have "that kind" of B cup. If you nursed or have had a child, you feel me!) & 90- 120 pounds (I'm 108 lbs). The cups were a little large on me, but I laid two bra inserts in the bottom of the cup to give the girls a boost! The under-wire didn't sit flush against my chest, I didn't feel I had much support and worry that larger chested women might have spillage or a runaway boob from under the cup.

This fit me perfect lengthwise. The front from top of cup to bottom hem measures about 23 inches, while the backside measures about 19 inches. The bottom hem sat just below my cheeks & I'm 5'5". It does ride up but with a pair of thigh highs and the adjustable garter straps, there is no issue with it moving! The straps can be removed easily if you don't prefer to wear thigh highs. This makes having sex much easier, also.

The sides are sheer and become more sheer as it stretches. Since the middle is a non see through print (same as the cups) with a black lace trim and sides are sheer, this is sure to flatter any size figure with an hour glass shape. This is especially nice for me since I'm petite with a boyish shape.

The set also included a plain black thong. The size was also small. I've come to notice a lot of lingerie sets that come with thongs usually are very unflattering and run not so true to size. This one did however, fit me very well and makes my ass look amazing.

To wash the care instructions on both chemise & panties, say to "Hand wash in cold water. Line Dry." Easy enough! I think this will hold up wonderfully. The craftsmanship is top notch! I couldn't find any loose threads and think this will last a very long time. It's also extremely comfortable. The entire set it very breathable. I actually fell asleep in it during a heat wave of over 95 degrees (hotter in our non air-conditioned house!) I wouldn't recommend wearing this out in public but you could probably pull it off at a night club if you're shorter than 5'5" & removed the garters. By removing the garters though, you risk it riding up to your waist. You could use dress tape to keep it down.

The Animalistique chemise is made from 80% Nylon & 20%Spandex. Giving the entire piece lots of stretch. The panties are 93% Nylon & 7% Spandex. Also giving them plenty of stretch!

Overall- This is currently my favorite lingerie piece I've ever owned. My husband loves it & could not stop complimenting me in it. That's enough to make me want to wear it over and over again!

After a long 3 day golf tournament, my Husband was spent! I told him to sit down & relax so I could show him something new I got for him. I went to the bedroom, took this fierce set off the plastic hanger and set myself up to make his night a little more exhausting. When I walked down the stairs, his jaw dropped. He instructed me to "get my ass over there!" He couldn't keep his hands off my ass and loved snapping the garter straps against my things! It felt good to feel so naughty in this. It haven't seen him that excited just to look at me in a long time. I might just wear this every day!

We're still loving this set! It's super soft, stretchy and what I go to if I'm really wild. A sure fire way to get even the crankiest hubby turned on after a long day!

It's washing well. Hand wash and hung to dry.
