Sweet obsession curiosity - traditional vibrator discontinued by Cal Exotics - review by froggiemoma

Ok, so when I received the Sweet Obsession Curiosity it was a lot smaller than I expected. My first look at it left me with the impression that I was going to be disappointed, but after a little experimenting my opinion of the toy changed. This toy feels great for clitoral stimulation but it can also be used internally and feels nice on other parts of the body such and nipples,or just being ran all over the body the velvety ticklers feel great. While it can be used internally and it does feel good it has a shorter insertable length and is a pretty skinny toy. It would be great for a beginner or someone more advanced. This toy should not be used anally because of the fact that there is no flared base and it could potentially get lost in never never land.

The shaft and head of the toy are made of smooth, food-grade, hypo-allergenic, latex free, non-porous, and Phthalates free silicone. The is a bit of drag to the toy and while it says odor free i did notice a bit of a chemical/ silicone smell to it. It isn't super noticeable unless you have to toy right under your nose so it really didn't interfere with anything. The velvety silicone ticklers on the head of the toy feel great clitorally and all over the body. These ticklers can be felt internally so if you aren't into extra texture you may not like the sensations they provide. It does have some flexibility to it, so it isn't stiff but wont bend to far without you really "pushing" on it. The Sweet Obsession Curiosity would make a great toy for a beginner or would be an awesome addition the more advanced user as well.

The handle of the toy is made out of hard ABS plastic. The ring separating the shaft from the handle is a silver plated ABS.

I was expecting this toy to be bigger and when it arrived I was a bit surprised at it's small size. While it is small and would be a great toy for a beginner advanced users could find enjoyment in this toy as well as long as the shorter insertable length and slenderness of the toy are taken into account. This little vibrator measures 6 1/2" in length, 4" in insertable length, 3" in circumference, and 1" in diameter. Since the toy being smaller could be easily hidden but if anybody did catch a glimpse at it they would know what it is for sure. The silicone potion of the toy has a bulged portion at the head of the toy that measures a little longer than the pad/ end of my thumb in length. this part it covered in small flexible, velvety "ticklers". The shaft curves a bit at the end and my provide stimulation for those with a shallow g-spot if you can handle the interesting sensation the ticklers provide. The shaft is firm except for a small section in the center of the shaft. Just below the silicone shaft portion there is a silver band separating the shaft for the plastic handle. You twist and turn the handle just below this band to open the battery compartment which features a waterproof ring/seal inside to keep water out during cleaning and play. There are to buttons located on the front of the plastic end to turn the toy on/off and cycle through its setting. The battery charger comes in 3 pieces that silde securely together and after assembly plugs directly into the wall (no cord) and the batteries go into the front of the charger. While only comes with one battery the charger will hold two, so if you wanted to get an extra battery to have already charged when one runs out that is an option.

The Sweet Obsession Curiosity has many awesome functions. It comes with a rechargeable 3V battery and charger so when the battery runs down pop it in the charger and reuse instead of having to run out and buy a new battery. The toy will run on high for 45 minutes and low for up to an hour. Charging time on the battery is 4 hours when fully drained. It is totally waterproof so you can take this toy along with you in the shower or tub and don't have to worry about it being damage during playtime or when washing it. It features 10 functions and has a memory ship so when you turn it off and turn it back on it starts back at the setting you had it on when you left off before. There are 3 intensity settings- low, medium, and high, 7 vibration patterns- single pulse, high-low pulse,double pulse, triple pulse, steeplechase, low-high steeplechase, and strong pulse. It isn't overly loud but on the higher settings someone in the same room will be able to hear it. The vibrations a pretty strong. They are located in the head of the shaft and travel through the whole toy. The vibrations are the buzzy kind and can be felt in the handle of the toy making your hand feel a little tingly. Love this feature because I don't have to hunt the setting I like every time I turn it back on it's already there! It has 2 control buttons. One to turn it on/off and the other to scroll through the 10 functions it features.

The Sweet Obsession Curiosity is easy to clean just wash the toy with soap and warm water or your favorite toy cleaner. Take care to clean well between and around the ticklers on the head of the toy. It's waterproof so no big worries about getting water anywhere it shouldn't be and ruining the toy while cleaning. You will want to use water based lube and store away from other silicone toys to prevent any damage to your toy.

The toy comes in a paperboard box that has pictures of the toy, a woman's face, toy features, a few care instructions on the bottom of the box and a picture instructing you on how to assemble the battery charger. There is a detailed User manual included in the box and the toy and charger are housed in a plastic tray that slides out to hold the toy in place. You can use the box to store the toy in or you can find a pouch or something that wont take up as much room as the box it comes in.
