Velvety soft butterfly pasties - pasties discontinued by Cal Exotics - review by Ashley

The Velvety butterfly pasties by California Exotic are very cute pieces of nipple jewelry. I had been initially worried that as a larger woman, and as a consequence, having a large bust, they would not fit my breast, but they fit reasonably well on my breast. I would think, however, that it would fit a little bit better on a woman with a smaller cup size than mine (such as an A or B cup), but that could be due to my personal bias towards my own bust size. But, yes, it does work well for its intended use.

I really liked the material used on the front of the pasties, which was velvet, as one could tell in the title. It feels so soft! And I like that. Also, the use of the butterfly shape for the pasties is very aesthetically pleasing! You can get these in either black or purple. I chose purple, but either looks good. Maybe there should be more colors, possibly? I'm actually partial to green and blue.

At least you don't really have to clean it! Though, the velvet guide on this website recommends you "Spot clean with a water-free dry cleaning product, wiping in the direction of the pile (so the pile lies down). When the fabric is dry, brush gently with a suede brush, first against, then with the pile." Yeah, I don't think sticking this into the washing mashing would be very wise. Just don't do it. Even sans the adhesive tape. The tassels are similar to the weird stuff you see on the caps for graduates of high school and college probably wouldn't abide by that.

Yeah, I suppose you can use this with other toys, and with a partner. They personally made me feel sexy. It is a shame I didn't have a partner to share it. I did use it with some of my toys in conjunction with my sex fantasies, which is nice.

My biggest beef with this product is the adhesive tape. It came with 12 small inch-sized rectangle pieces, which really just says, you only will use this product a few times. I give props to the adhesive tape not being an irritant to the skin. I've had reactions to the adhesive tape of regular Band-Aids in the past. The adhesive tape is actually kind of soft! But, really, more rectangle pieces of adhesive tape would be wise to include. Another beef with the adhesive tape is how fucking hard it is to remove them from the backside of the pasties. You won't get it all off. It's kind of like an annoying type of gum.

Due to the adhesive tape, I give this product four stars. Otherwise, there are no other issues with this tape to speak of.
